This is a neat place. We didn't get pizza--I don't even remember them having pizza--but the assortment of hots--a few different types of sausages--are really great. Each of us tried a different kind so we could share, and all three were really unique-tasting and in a very, very good way. They're also served on big, delicious buns, come with a nice variety of chips, and a drink.
The folks who run the place--Uncle Eddie and his family--are super-charming, too.
So if you see this place there on Sunshine, wondering what the hell a "hot" is, trust me, it's good, and for fast food/takeout food, a truly different and pleasant experience.
Excellent NY style pizza. My BF and I are kind of pizza snobs (especially him) and we both loved this place. We ordered the Pentagon (5 Meat) pizza and it was LOADED with toppings. The crust was perfect, thin and crispy. The menu had lots of other topping combos that interested me enough that I'll have to come back and try. Â My only problem with my experience at Uncle Eddie's was trying to eat this big, beautiful, hot and crunchy pizza with a plastic knife and fork. I was too impatient to wait for it to cool to a handling temp and the weak plastic utensils just didn't cut it. If I go back (in) to eat there again (instead of delivery or pick up) I'll try and remember to bring my own from home.
Review Source:This is our new favorite pizza place! Â The crust is thin, but not thin like a cracker. The slices are huge and they are generous with the toppings. Â This is really good pizza for a really good price. Â The dining room is a bit cramped, so we will stick with carryout or delivery most of the time.
