Do they accept EBT here or something?!
The place is a wreck. Â No offense to any women who have been there, but women there look trashy. Â Not the "good" type of trashy where guys can at least stare at your sexy outfit, its the ratchet hooker type of trashy.
It's a "diverse" place, if you get my drift, and if you don't get my drift, that means almost everybody there a minority black/hispanic, or a hooker, or a thug.  The guys look ghetto and straight out  of the hood.  The males have to pay way more than the females. The guy:girl ratio was atrocious, 3 guys per 1 female the night I went, but probably hit or miss with the way they do cover charges.
The venue acts like it's some type of upscale and overbooked location, yet it is not whatsoever. If they don't want you in, they'll just point to a random clothing item and tell you to go home and change it. Â Enjoy waiting in line for a club that isn't even close to filling up. You'll have a much better time going to the nearby bars around the corner.
I've been going here off an on since summer of 2011, not by choice. It has gone rather downhill. The clientele is rather random along with dress attire. I have noticed more black guys, which isn't good for me. I see all sorts of people here, rockers, possible minor males, thugs, wannabe thugs, drunk falling/ glass dropping wasted white girls, older woman( attractive, but mostly unattractive cougars), black people, white people, Asian(but very few) It's rather a cluster-f**k, and no ones really that cute!!!!!
The drinks have been overpriced like always, but now it's just too overcrowded, no room to dance; bars packed, you'll be waiting sometime for that 10-12 or more dollar drink. They recently haven't been charging cover and that has been causing problems. I alerted a security guard of a spill I saw and he just shrug, so be careful while walking around there.
As for the bathrooms, be careful as the night progresses it gets rather gross in there sometimes, puke and pee in the stalls and not the toilet and NO TOILET paper to wipe or cover the seat or TOWELS to dry your hands.
The light system is pretty cool.
So I have had friends coming here for a while and I had always heard good things. Â So I started coming with them this summer and had a lot of fun. Â We however have notice the quality go down considerably over the last 6 months or so. Â When I first started going it was busy and they didnt let it get so full that you couldnt move. Â They have started letting in people wearing t-shirts and sneakers. Â It is so full now that you cant even dance because there are constatnly people pushing to get through. Â We came out for New Years Eve lookig for a place to get dressed up, dance, and have a great time with friends. Â We ended up leaving at 11:30 and going some place else. Â First we had two people sent to change because one was wearing a hat and the other was wearing a v-neck. Â They both left and came back and got in fine....but while the rest of us got in we noticed multiple people wering similar items that were let in with no problem. Â I can say that we will not be going back after the last experiance.
Review Source:the set up is great. the bar has great potential. bad bar tenders. low to no selections on beers on draft or on tap. which is sad for me. even limited selection on mixed drinks and top shelf. maybe in a few years they can expand there selection and bring in a better crowd. I say go for a good time if you just wanna dance and have fun.
Review Source:I used to be here every weekend, amazing music and great looking people. Now they are letting people come in with sneakers and are just trashy. The thing I loved about Vault before was that you have a strict dress code.
But now you can be in a dress up shirt and a vest dancing with a guy in sneakers and a tank. The people here are straight up Ratchet now. Â I went in one night and it was dead and was standing on the second floor drinking with friends and saw this guy spitting over the balcony... disgusting! They close way to early now ending anywhere between 12-1. At this rate I dont know how much longer they can stay open. One time me and my friends ordered 3 Sex On the Beaches at 8.00 a cup and we gave him $5.00 for a tip and he mean mugged us and asked for a larger tip... B!TCH PLEASE.
Nice place to go to and seemed to be very fancy, but people that came yesterday was ... not so much. This looks like one of the clubs you would think where the girls are all done up and the guys are all pressed, but looking around it seemed as if everyone treated this place like another "bar" instead of a night club. I mean shoot, even the cocktail girls were dressed up, you would think girls in this area WOULD think to dress prettier than just jeans and a top. Idk, I have a different taste when its comes to going to clubs. Over all, nice venue!
I just have to say ... DJ needs a little work.
Maybe it's just because I'm spoiled to good nightlife, bars, and clubs in the SoCal area, but The Vault just doesn't cut it for me. Drinks are decent, not much selection, SMALL, DJ is alright, but the crowd is really rude. NOT WORTH ANY TYPE OF COVER CHARGE! Â If you're in the mood to put on a little black dress and go clubbing, I guess this is the best you can do in the area. But again, not worth the cover charge
Review Source:Dont get me wrong place is good i like it but sometimes place is not enough on one business specially this kind of business customer service is the number one key factor,so from word of mouth to the others you can have business through  them .I came threes only 2 people waiting outside so we waited cause its 5;30 the door will be open for us this is a private even that they rent this place
we saw the host of the party we assume we could get inside at least it cooler rather than outside its summer time when we enter the place this guy  looks like manager or owner the way he act  yelled at us we are 3 we dont know each other ,and said YOU CANNOT GET INSIDE!!! (with attitude mad) we are so embarrass we wanted to say something but  we dont want to have any issue with the party were doing so we just dont react ...but we are talking bout how he treat us when we are outside waiting for our turn to get in there is 2 people who came to the front door he check the id and let them in  then ask our party host are you having somebody to check the entrance for your guest .....for us place is been rented PAID!!! we deserve to be treated like a customer now a days roseville down town is not really a pick place hos lucky he has business with us with in that night ....Learn how to be a good manager or if your the owner cause first impression last and from my mouth plus the 2 others it will spread from the rest ........
First of all, its nothing like vegas. I been to vegas twice and Vault doesn't stand anywhere. Nevertheless for a small town like sacramento, its a nice night club.
Pros:
Drinks not that costly.
Mixed race crowd.
Good songs by DJ.
Staff is good.
Cons:
Not much crowd on friday night. Esp not much of a good looking chicks. It looks packed because they are pretty small.
Crowd is little racist. One big white guy came to me and said let's show these black guys our fucking balls in dancing. Idk why he thought i would ever take his side in dance and go against black guys. I found black people better as they don't judge. Its my personal opinion.
Even most of the white girls just tries to talk to white guys only, nobody else. In general i found sacramento people still has that small town mentality.
I decided to check this place out again, February 9, 2012. My girlfriend and I just went in for a glass of wine. It was a Thursday night. Not a lot of people were there. We ended up meeting a great group of guys, who invited us to hang out in their booth. They paid $40 for a booth and bottle service! I was impressed with that. Even though we stuck to our 1 glass of wine, I was impressed for these guys and the deal they got.
Review Source:Ok i don't know if i just happen to go on a good night. but i have to disagree with some of the reviews on this place. first off the style is what you would expect at a bay area club, not so much Vegas. security was well in sight and active on taking care of everything running smoothly. the VIP sections where i was had plenty of comfy seating. the hostesses were nice and prompt on keeping us stocked with glasses & ice. the place did get a little packed up at one point. the dance floor is hardwood flooring , laser lights , strobe lights and fog machines. the DJ started off right with the music kicking it old school and new school later. however true to other reviews come 1:30 on the dot he started with the journey , and coolio at the sound of last call. overall a decent experience. i might give it another go. parking is easy enough, and the clubs location is surrounded by other bars and a few other clubs. safe enough environment
Review Source:This place might be ok for the 21 year old crowd who doesn't want to walk far from home but I wouldn't call it upscale by any stretch of the imagination. (And we sat in VIP). The VIP section was decent and allowed for some great people watching but if I was young and single, I'd find a better hang out with a classier crowd.
Review Source:Let me start this review by saying I am not really a dance club kind of girl, I love dive bars. That being said, this place was ok.
The interior of the club was neat...nice hardwood floors, old Victorian trim work, cool lighting and sound (which is to be expected in a night club), and the drinks were good as well. When not busy, the bartenders were dancing behind the bar and seemed to be having a good time which was fun.
The mix of people was interesting, more creepy men congregated in one location than I would care for, but I was there during a "single and sexy" party put on by 107.9 the end...so that explains the crowd. Dj played great music for most of the evening, but towards the end, almost seemed like he changed the style to not-so-good so people would leave for the night.
Parking in old Roseville is convenient and relatively safe, so no complaints there.
I got a booth with a bunch of friends, totally worth the money so your party has a place to hang out, plus no waiting to get in.
First of all, if you give a place 4 stars but list more cons than pro's you need to rethink your rating system.
All the cons  listed are accurate. This play is crazy on the weekends. Stuffy upstairs, expensive drinks, horrible dj who can't play a entire song and starts mixing current hits with GNR, come on!
Vault is 'upscale' for Roseville, but nothing like Vegas as a previous review mentioned. Vegas, really?
Female to male ratio was uneven, tons of ladies in hoochie outfits and very little males to look at them.
Just because Snookie shows her vajay doesn't mean its ok for you!
Maybe go inside before the crowd, get an overpriced drink and it will be nice.
The laser beams and crazy lights make the dance floor a nightmare, no wonder girls are complaining of getting groped.
If you must try it because you are bored of Roseville, at least don't pay to get in.
I've been to Vault a few times now and I have some mixed feelings about it. Â The pros are:
1) It's more "upscale" than any of the other bars/clubs in the area.
2) I like that there's an upstairs bar, so you can hang out, if you don't want to dance.
3) It's close to home and eliminates having to drive all the way to downtown Sac.
4) The staff is friendly. Â
The cons are:
1) The drinks are expensive and not that great.
2) It's usually very very crowded on the weekends and almost impossible to move inside.
3) The people that come here are...umm...interesting. Â If you're large and in charge, nobody wants to see you cellulite hanging out of your short, too tight dress!! And if you're a guy, can you maybe try a little harder than just wearing a hoodie!!
4) If you are even remotely attractive, you will most likely get gawked at and your ass grabbed. Â
If you like to go somewhere to watch all the pretty people, this probably isn't your best choice. Â If you just want somewhere fun to hang out with some of your friends for a couple hours, then Vault isn't a bad choice.
1) looks are deceiving
2) way too small
3) distasteful folks
I gave it 2 stars b/c I knew most of the people there & "ambience."
Other than that, I agree with some of the other reviews on here; I don't want to be all dressy & upscale while they let folks in with hoodies or just plain ghetto looking! Drunk sloppy messes everywhere, Idk how many times someone dropped their drinks on me or poured their drinks on me while talking to me or dancing.
Also, I don't go out to be violate.
PSA: we can dance, but DON'T put your hands near or in my vagina, butthole or titties when I clearly tell you to stop or smack it away, thanks!
So, would I go back? Probably not. A 45 min drive to be slightly interested/disappointed & a cover of $10 for old Roseville just doesn't convince me enough.
If you like Vegas you'll love Vault. If you hate crowds, covers, expensive drinks, loud music, hoochie dressed chicks, then Vault is not for you.
Pros: Upscale, a lot of people, cool design and good place to go dancing in Old Town Roseville.
Cons: Can get too crowded and drinks are pricey.
Overall: More Midtown Sac then Downtown Roseville, but definitely a welcome addition.
The music was amazing, the staff was actually nice even the bouncers and door man, which is nice because nothing is worst that a rude door man! Everyone was dressed nice inside and everyone looked decent for the most part besides the occasional girls that looked like a stuffed sausage in their dress. Speaking of which that was my only qualm, the place isn't that big and there were too many people. I kept getting elbowed and shoved. Trying to dance was a little difficult but we all still had a good time. The drinks were a little weak but I guess it depends on the bartender. I will go back to test it out again!
Review Source:Very nice club, nice staff. Had no problem what's so ever. But on the account of room. Wow. U couldnt budge in this place. They either need to not fill it as much or make a little expansion.
The drinks were pretty weak. Purchased top shelf alcohol all night. But there was more mixers then anything else.  By the time I left the place I was so amped up off of redbull I was sick. Problem was I had 6 drinks. One was a vodka redbull and the rest were vodka sodas. Â
Like I said before the club it self was very nice but roomy it wasn't.
I went here the other weekend & it was pretty fun. Typically, I don't really enjoy going to Old Hoesville because 1. it's like a high school reunion with people I don't want to see & 2. if I'm gonna go out, I'd rather get all dressed up & usually this area is relatively casual in comparison to going downtown.
Vault, however, was the exception. I went with a group of friends and we got a booth since it was only $100 + gratuity. The hostess was super friendly, helpful, and prompt. The booths themselves were so nice. Like Vegas nice. And huuuuge. 10-15 could be seated in it easily! I think it was a Thursday night that we went, so that may be why it was relatively cheap, but it was still cheaper than going downtown when noting its size. The booths are also upstairs and you can look down on the dance floor (although I believe that there are a few downstairs as well). The look of this is nice, but it's also a little inconvenient in going downstairs in heels when you want to dance. If I went again, I would request a downstairs area.
My only complaint is that I wish they wouldn't let people in wearing hoodies and stuff. I mean, if the club is going to be so nice, and even the bouncers are wearing tuxes, it doesn't make sense to let in people dressing so casually. Of course this won't hinder me from going since it doesn't affect me, but I'm just sayin!
Good music, good vibe, and cool atmosphere... I'll be back.
A group of six of us were out for my girlfriends birthday. We are all in our 30's , and love being able to be out with our husbands and friends, "kid free" for a night. Â We were classily dressed, and just out having fun. We decided to stop in, and upon waiting in line, one of the bouncers just kept overlooking the line, and letting women with long hair in on the other side of the rope. He looked at me (as a I have shorter, sassier hair) and proceeded to tell me he didn't like me because of my short hair. Wow, really? Just saying that alone, I will never be back. The general manager came out and apologized and let us all in, husbands too without charging us because of that comment, but the kicker was when it came for the sixth person to come in. Because of his ethnicity (Japanese), another bouncer made it quite clear he wasn't welcome in. He then back tracked his words, and quickly blamed it on that he had "giants" clothing on ( as this bouncer was letting in others in with hats on and t shirts). Â The man in our group had a button down shirt on, designer jeans and nice shoes... who tells someone they cannot come in because of short hair and ethnicity?? Come on Roseville, you want to be "classy" but this is far from it... What a dump of a place. Â I know we will never be back and neither will the others... we should have just stayed with the good crowd at the boxing donkey. Â I gave the second star rating for the general manager who actually stepped in to help out and was kind, but this place seriously needs to rethink who they hire, and realize that you are located in old Roseville, not San Francisco.
Review Source:My party had a a VIP table located upstairs which is a prime spot to dance and people watch. Â Bars located upstairs and downstairs are very handy! Â The security team is made up of professionally dressed great looking guys. Someone in our party dropped and broke a glass and we had a clean up crew complete with flashlights, brooms and towels taking care of the situation stat! The staff was great, our table celebrated a 40th bday and we had 2 sexy waitresses dancing at our table with sparklers. Â Fun and interesting laser light show. Â I like the fact that the cover charge is on the higher end, feels like a mature clientele. Â
Good Job Vault Nightclub!
This place is cool. Good Music. Ive only purchased drinks here a couple times because theyre always weak and overpriced. I usually go to onyx for drink because there is a bartender there who always makes them strong. Â I think the V.I.P booths kinda suck. Bill was $183 for sky vodka (included a tip for our waitress...she cleared the glasses and thats it, not sure why we were required to leave her a $25 tip).. My Party only stayed for about an hour because the VIP room we had was too hot. Its enclosed with just a doorway. Upstairs area is also stuffy. I had a lower review of them because of the issues they had when they first opened and the cost was higher to get into this place. However they fixed the issue, offered me a free drink, got rid of their "I take my job way too serious" bouncers, and their cover is now $5, which is on point with the rest of the clubs around there. I dont go here often, but its not so bad when I do.
Beware - Girls love to stare you up & down at this place.
Yes the dress code has changed over time here....I guess their trying to fit in with the rest of the clubs/bars, which can be dressy and casual.
Wow is the best word to describe this venue! Beautiful layout and amazing decor. Drinks were awesome and the staff was friendly and very attentive to us in our booth. From the previous post about the vip section being pathetic and empty, it was actually packed and since the dance floor is downstairs we left our booth to get our dance on. The upstairs VIP section is off the hook. Great sized booths and private away from the rest of the crowd so no drunk people walking through your booth and intruding in your space. This is the best nightclub I've been to in all the Sacramento area. Can't wait to go back to Old Town Roseville. Â Its. By far the best bar hopping district in the valley. Â If you've never been to old Roseville your missing out....
Review Source:Went to the opening of the club last night and didn't know what to expect.
+ I thoroughly enjoyed the free photobooth with my friends and loved seeing everyone's recent pictures outside of the booth.
+ Drinks are reasonably priced
+ Great decor, loved the walls and mirrors everywhere
+ Go-Go dancers kept the mood light and fun and they were fun to watch
- Bass was way too loud, very hard to hear any of the words to songs
- VIP was empty for most of the night - Looked pathetic
- Saw a minor fight break out
- A lot of the guy's attire was not club appropriate. Hello a white t-shirt that's baggy and has a baseball's team logo is NOT club appropriate!
There's still a lot of kinks to be worked out, but it's by far the best club and atmosphere in Old Roseville. Worth it to check it out and grab a drink and dance the night away.
