Villa Europa Restaurant & Lounge

I've eaten in other German restaurants in what was supposed to be "German" towns. Villa Europa beats them all. I was surprised not to be greeted immediately at the front counter (Robert Irvine would freak!), but we were directed to a neat booth in a cozy dining area and immediately met our waiter who promised to take "excellent care" of us. He did! He coached us through our selections, suggesting more than I knew I could eat, and delivered our drinks and our appetizer pronto. He gave excellent, spot-on descriptions of everything, promising satisfaction of our palates, and he was so right. Then we topped it off with the most incredible Black Forest Cake. Then we met one of the owners and enjoyed an excellent visit--who suggested two other family-owned restaurants nearby. We'll be back!

Sustain: Cozy interior, jaegerschnitzel on deck, revolving soup menu (including my favorite, split pea soup!), draft warsteiner served in das boot, prompt and efficient service

Improve: Sketchy exterior, revolving soup menu (I want my split pea soup, dammit!), can a brother get some rumsteak/schweinhaxe?

It's located right off the exit and it's not hard to find. I'm going to give this place 5 stars. It was my first time eating at a German restaurant but the food impressed me.  I ordered the Schnitzel with side potatoes. Once you squeeze that slice of lemon on to the Schnitzel, it brings out that terrific flavor. Btw, our waitress was hilarious and left me with great memories.
