The Vine Restaurant Plymouth

Closed, spring of 2010. A pity -- I loved this restaurant, even though I never took the time to review it. I think difficult economic times made it tough for this gem to stay open.

The Vine is a rare gem in the booming metropolis of Plymouth.  Although it has a small menu, it has the kind of flavor packed dishes that you expect to find in a more metropolitan or yuppie location.  They have a fairly extensive wine list and the environment is cozy.  Although this location isn't as large as the one in South Bend, it seems to serve the same quality of food.  

I haven't tried a lot of the menu items but the Dip Sampler and Mike's Hot Crab Dip are both tasty ways to start your meal.  And I've enjoyed the Fra Diablo a time or two.  I tend to always go back to the Cajun Grilled Mahi because the soup of the day usually sounds too good to resist.  I've never been disappointed with a meal at The Vine.  Check it out if you're looking for a change of pace in Plymouth.
