Brass Rail Restaurant & Lounge

It didn't start off well, but finished with an "alright" experience.  Wanting to dodge the smokers standing outside the bar area, we entered through the family dining area.  We were told that someone would be right with us, but ended up waiting for about 12 minutes in the doorway.  There were 5 tables within reach that we could have easily occupied, but we, alas, remained standing.  Once seated, service was slow, but genuine.  We waited about 10 minutes to receive our drinks, but the rest of the food came in a timely manner.  A burger and smothered chicken were our choices for the night.  Nothing worth writing home about, but the chicken vegetable soup was very nice.  The ambiance was relaxed and inviting.

Great little place if you're ever in the mood to drive to a fun part of the country.    

Apparently they are know for their Steak - so, naturally I got a burger.      Just wasn't hungry enough for a steak, sorry.  

Decent burger, nothing Amazing, but all in all a nice stop.

A  bit expensive for the fare,but all in all, I'm guessing one of the better restaurants in town. The building was a bit smoky, but all the food was decent. Clean, quiet atmosphere and pleasant service. Pretty good.
