This place is really nice for Turlock.  I've been here a few times and I can say I'm a fan of this place.  I love that they have live music, Neil is amazing!  The staff here is super friendly and attentive to your drink, so there is a refill coming soon.  The prices are average as well.

On Saturday march 16 I visited the Piano Lounge. This place is going to have some problems due to one problematic employee, The  bouncer's name is Sebastian he instigated a fight that involved 3 men that are known to frequent the place and are friends with Sebastian, to go jump a guy that was walking down the street with his girl friend. the guy ended up going to the hospital with broken nose and multiple contusions and head laceration.   The manager of the bar covered for the bouncer immediately, I can understand trying to cover for your place of business but this is criminal. This bouncer is a little man in a big mans body. There are much better run places in Turlock to go and not have to worry about some piece of shit that messes with people that are out to have a good time.

This place sux pure and simple. First off they had some security guy, who was not very cool, at the front and he informed us that they only had a table at the front and no other room in the bar. So we took up a table and settled in to order drinks. After we sat down this security guy tells us that they only allow cowboy hats and that I would have to take off my baseball hat. My hat was not a sports team hat it is a military billed cap with an American flag on it. I was not going to take off my hat because it had the US flag on it and if they didn't want hats then they should not allow any hats. I showed the guy my hat and that it did have the flag on it and he said he wasn't going to make an exception. In the back was a guy wearing a cowboy hat yet I could not wear my hat. Ridiculous! I served my country and I wasn't taking off my hat to stay in some suck bar. Do yourself a favor go right down the street to Staleys, they know how to treat Vets. I'll never go to this place again.

Considering this is Turlock, I was really happy to find a place like this.  The live music was good and not instrusive.  They had the Giants game on (although it was only one TV and it was kinda far from our seat).  The drink list was very nice.  They had a good scotch selection and I was very pleased with mine (even more pleased with the amount they gave me when I ordered a "single").

It's a little bit small and the layout isn't optimal.  I could also see myself tiring of the overly drunk 40+ crowd.  However, those are just minor details.  In the end, I really liked this place.

I've visited the lounge three times, twice on random weekends and most recently on New Year's Eve.  I've never had a problem getting a table, and the service was always excellent.  The bar is great: Great top shelf options and well-made drinks.  The piano music is very entertaining and doesn't feel kitschy.

Unfortunately, the appetizers are not worth the price.  The shrimp cocktail consisted of a bland cocktail sauce and limp, flavorless shrimp.  The chicken in the quesadilla tasted like it was from a can, and the salsa was the worst I have ever had (seriously, in Turlock they couldn't get better salsa?)  I haven't tried their main dishes so I can't comment.

I have seen a party of twelve people set up there for a birthday party, so I know they can handle groups.

I will go again, because I like the drinks and the atmosphere.  For the prices they charge for food, I would rather walk down to the Bistro.

We (5 women) visited the Vintage Piano Lounge after dinner and enjoyed it. We were welcomed at the door and shown to a table right away. The live piano player had a large and varied repertoire he shared with us. The piano provides entertainment and yet permits the patrons to communicate with each other without having the yell above the music.
The drinks were quality and there's a decent menu of Hors D'oeuvres and Appetizers.
The ONLY draw back is one woman's single stall bathroom. I do not like standing in line in a small hallway in full view of everyone while waiting to use the facilities. If it weren't for that I would give this place 5 stars.
Make sure to drop some bills in the Piano Player's bowl before you leave.
