Voodoo martini is an interesting little establishment. I am a 'local' and live a few blocks away. It is small and dimly lit, and actually a nicely decorated bar. It is better on slower days because on the weekends it can be a disaster, like a college bar. Personally I steer clear of the food and stick to beer for the most part. Once their kitchen is not so exposed and tiny, I may consider eating here again, I did once and was underwhelmed. I think they should just drop martini from the name.
Review Source:My friends and I often visit both First Street and Voodoo Martini in Newberg, both of which are great bars with slightly different offerings/settings. Over time I've gotten to know the owners of this place and they're great, fun people. I personally think that the mood here is great; one wall is painted with crows where people can take Sharpie and write. Another cool thing about the place is that they have a live music night, which as another said, is typically blues.
Definitely recommend if you prefer a laid back environment to drink in with pretty cool people.
