Came during an A's game. Most of the crowd seemed like the "bro" type. Which i have nothing against but knew i wouldnt have any conversations with these people due to me not being into sports. Nice little couch to sit on. Didnt stay too long. If you like sports and working out, this is your place.

This was the very, very first bar I have ever been to, yet alone in Roseville. I went here for a graduation party, not really knowing what to expect, since I have never been in bars before.

It was a Saturday night and I parked on the side of the bar, got my ID ready, opened the door, but no one checked my ID or age, so that was the first for me. As I walked in, there were two pool tables in the back and a bar right in front of the entrance, and another bar in the back, which was where my party was. I noticed though that there were only about 6-7 people in the front bar, which I thought was weird, because wow, it was pretty dead in there. I made my way towards the back of the room and my boyfriend ordered us a couple of drinks. I'm not even sure if they actually checked for IDs, so weird.

The night got weirder when I found out that one of the guests at the graduation party was only 19 years old and she was insanely drunk. That just made me realize that this place isn't really too strict about checking IDs if someone at that age was already drunk at 11:00pm. Another weird thing for me was the bathroom. I had to go number one and as soon as I closed the door, I notice that the door is seriously only inches away from your face while you're doing your business. I felt pretty claustrophobic in there...

Basically, two stars because even though it was my first bar, I feel like I have already experienced better, the bathroom door being all up in my grill was weird, and it was pretty dead for a Saturday night (then again, maybe because it's Roseville), and because drinks are pretty darn expensive (2 shots and a beer for $25).

What happened to you West House?!
This used to be a great spot to avoid the douches and club hoppers in Roseville. I always loved it here. Not anymore. They have taken over! Lame music, new rude bartender. The cocktail waitress was dressed in a string bikini, fishnets and stripper heels. It was Roseville douchebaggery in full effect. Plenty of gym rat guys in affliction and tapout shirts and bleach headed broads with boob jobs. Meh. Looks like I will have to go out of the city to find a new spot to relax.

Very nicely decorated dive bar from back in the day. Not that many people when I went there, even though it was on a Saturday night. I guess it depends on what is happening around the corner at the strip of bars. The bartenders were really nice and there was a DJ, who was playing some decent music, had there been more people there, we would have danced our pants off!

My boyfriend used to do Merchandising for Budwiser and knows one of the bartenders. Never any free drinks, but we get a kick out of him anyway! We come here when we want a good drink, but don't really want to be in the middle of the rest of the bars. Fun place to come have a few drinks.

This place is not really big, but its a great place to hang out and get away from the typical "clubbers". The crowd is  very diverse. They play good music Fridays and Saturdays. The bathrooms are small but toilets are big! lol

Love this place!  The best bartenders you will find anywhere and a great DJ Th-Sat.  Crowd varies each night, mostly the 20somethings but some in the early-mid 30s.  Only once have I seen a fight break out and the bouncers stopped it before anyone really knew what was happening.  Its also a great place to have private parties--you can rent out the back bar (it even has a stipper pole!) and close it down for a private event.

Not a good bar, you're better off going into oldtown Roseville instead.  They've been busted for deliberately serving the wrong drink to customers.  If you order a mixed drink by name - Bacardi & coke, or Tanqueray & tonic - you expect to get that brand, not the cheap well booze...especially if they charge you for it.  Add to that their lame bouncers that only look out for their friends, and you've got a recipe for (a) disappointment, or (b) a bar fight.  If you still find yourself going, order a bottled beer...it might just help you in either situation.

The bathrooms were clean and the bar seemed like a nice place but it has really changed in the last couple of years. The crowd is really getting "ghetto" and it doesn't even get busy on the weekends anymore. We had a much better time at the Onyx and Troc. I'm sure we will check in from time to time to see if things get back to the way they used to be though.

I am only giving it 3 stars because of the fact that me and my date were 10 years older than everyone else and since I have no tats or piercings, felt out of place. The music was off the charts good, I mean now I am a fan of hip/hop and danced for like 3 hours straight. But suggest going with a group of people if your over 30.

Boo. Great place to go if you like choke holds from gorilla-like bouncers. We'll return someday when the place has new owners/management. If you want to drink in old Roseville go to the Main Street area. A bunch of bars for whatever your mood.

The West House is a great spot to chill and hang with good peeps.  Many hotties crusinin through the doors mostly on Thurs, Fri and Sat nights.  Beware of the ever lurking cops at closing time.
