They had beef ribs which was a plus. Â But they were awfully bland. Â My other half had parmigiana. Â Also incredibly bland. Had a nice outdoor seating area... with tiny plastic chairs that no respectable large man wants to sit in. Â And our waitress completely forgot about us outside. Â No drink refills, and about 30 minutes after we finished eating we went inside to pay the bill. Â Maybe if I were simply there to have drinks and play darts it would have been more enjoyable.
Review Source:With a new chef in the kitchen and an what appears to be a big focus on quality, my last 4 dining experiences in the past 2 months here have been excellent! Don't hold the ownership of the Lazy Dog against them. I have had the Mad Dog Chili several times and is an excellent starter. I have tried their 1/2 pound angus burgers which are very tasty. I also ordered the pastrami on marble rye which was very lean and tasted real good. Finally I ordered 1/2 rack of their signature ribs which were cooked perfectly and had an awesome BBQ sauce. As most have mentioned their beer selection is good, all the bartenders are great and the young waitstaff are friendly, attentive and easy on the eyes! The outside patio is open and adds a nice feel despite the busy & noisy route 20 traffic. Give them a try instead of Longhorn or Five Guys.
