We stopped in here for our first time on Christmas night (one of the few actually open unless you dig the pee-smelling aroma at Zeno's).  We only had drinks, which did its job to quench our beer tasting thirsts, but they definitely did not seem to offer too much of a variety.  The waitress working that night was friendly, but not very attentive which may have possibly been due to the guy she was swooning all over in the corner.  Either way, it may be worth a try, but be warned that the place appeared small and incapable of holding a large crowd during peak hours or football season.

They only have light Cranberry juice. WTF? No sucralose for me, thanks.

Update: I may have been a little too harsh on Westside. I had the pulled pork sandwich here because my dad dragged me and it was actually really good. Like, above par for State College bar food. But who only has light cranberry juice? And the beer selection flat-out sucks, so don't rely on that.

Been there a few times, the burgers and fries were excellent! My boyfriend loved their mac and cheese crocks as well.

We're semi-regulars here....giving in 4 starsbut would be tempted to go the 4 and a half, with the caveat that it is in the context of pub-style dining.  LOVE the sauce they serve with the calamari...we always request an extra one.  I've had a range of items (unusual, I'm usually a "nester").  I'm usually not a big meat gal, but I'm craving the Brisket sandwich which has an awesome sauce and is well-cooked.

Usually sit at the bar (those seats by the videogames are my pref...I'll give a stink eye if you are there and  not playing when other seats are open)/  and the bartenders are nice.  Order my self-styled signature of Cranberry and Vanilla Vodka ("The Cheryl"...help make it a "thing")!

Easy lot parking though I swear it manages to be fuller than the actual place.  Nice patio too.

Large open restaurant/bar with a bottleshop as you enter. The food options are somewhat limited. WSBG's menu is closer to that of a bar than a grill: sandwiches, some pizzas, wraps, burgers, and a few salads. No steak, no ribs. Three deserts.

The menu was a bit uninspiring, so I was pretty thrilled when I saw they had a wing special on that night (if you don't find something you are crazy about, at least get something cheap). The waitress had no clue about it she told me it was because she was never asked. isn't it on their giant billboard outside? Turns out it's $5 for 12 wings (choice of 4 sauces) instead of $8 -- not bad. The girlfriend's cheesesteak was decent, but nothing special.

Beers were of average price: $4.50 for a Troegs and a little less for a Miller. Other than that not a fantastic selection by any standard, but they do list some Troegs and Otto's.

Major thumbs up to the owners who had multiple TVs randomly showing CBC and the Montreal Canadiens -- Ottawa Senators hockey game (Habs' fan here). It's a rarity to even be able to find a place that gets CBC (Champs is the only other one I could find in the area) , let alone put it on without even asking for it.

Also, thumbs up for the guy who was playing acoustic guitar that night at 7:30. He was quite good. The atmosphere was okay, several 50+ couples and many 40+ guys lining up at the bar and starting up random conversations after work. Not at all the college crowd, but that can be fine sometimes :-)

Tip: This is located where Links used to be, at the intersection of Corl and College (appropriately) on the west side of campus, just before the waffleshop but after the intersection of college & beaver (yes -- they meet).
