This bar is unassuming and not that easy to find. Beer is competitively priced, with a moderate selection. The dinner-fare is adequate, but not what you'd expect at the grill for a quasi-country club.
The TV over the fireplace is surrounded by couches: a great location for catching a game with old high school friends. It is slightly too bright in the bar for the projector screen, though it is a very nice touch. A lingering smell of the pool drifts through every once in a while, if you sit near the entrance. The clientele is a bizarre combination of dads and early 20-somethings. Not exactly a nightlife crowd.
Like most bars, the enviroment differs depending on the night (and the specials). The bartenders have a nice sarcastic sense of humor, and will make solid recommendations for drinks (should you ask).
Club Wet is a decent enough place with very reasonable prices, but the clientele leaves much to be desired. Â While there are alot of suburban unthreatening kids from Abington and Cheltenham, there are a whole bunch of wiggers and scum bags that go to the bar, which brings it down. Â Their locker room does provide for some ample space on the benches for said wiggers and scum to snort coke off of, so I guess that is a positive if you are looking to go to a place where you see wiggers and scum rags snort coke off of benches that old men use to sit on naked during the day.
