Found this quaint place while traveling on Fla west coast...it may not look special from the outside but I suggest stopping in for lunch...I ordered their New England lobster roll and I can officially say it was as true New England lobster roll..split top hotdog roll lightly toasted with Maine  lobster chunks and sauce ie.mayo only..nothing else is added....PERFECTION!!,,,being from Boston originally I am horrified by how many restaurants claim New England anything in regards to  seafood and then read the ingredients and  see they aren't even close BUT this place definetly can say NEW England lobster roll and make us New Englanders proud and give us a taste of home.   Also the staff were friendly, the atmosphere is relaxed tnd beach casual....if in Pass A Grille stop in...also price for the lobster roll was $13. Which is excellent...awesome place.. wish I could bring this place  back to LA with me, I'd go here daily!
Review Source:Went to the Wharf twice while at St Pete's beach. We came in for lunch one day to avoid a rain storm and what a surprise. We had the Corned beef sandwich $7.95, a great cup of Gumbo $3.50 and you can't go wrong with a $2 draft PBR. We sat out on the deck and enjoyed the dolphins playing in the water. We went back for dinner a few nights later but did not sit out on the deck because of the amount of people smoking. We had the prime rib (not a do again) , crab cake (not as good as Sea Critters), Grouper and the Gumbo. Stick with the sea food it's what they do best. The place does not take reservations and it does fill up fast.
