The Wild Turkey Lewisville

First experience was better than my second.

Second experience consisted of terrible service. They need to hire friendlier people. It's all about customer service. Happy hour is pretty good. Appetizers are okay. Don't expect a good portion size for the appetizers.  I thought this would be a good hang out spot for me, but I don't think I'll be coming here as often.

What good can i say about Wild Turkey? Absolutely nothing, anything at all. Please do not waste your money here like i did.  Everything from the food, decor, drink specials, service, patrons, and management is terrible.
   Let me start with the food. Pretty sure I have FOOD POISONING now after eating just guacamole and chips! Thirty mins after ingesting started sweating insane amounts and got sick.
   They advertise "drink specials" You will see drink menus and signs in the bar that advertise 3.00 dollar U-call-its on this day, Wednesday. A friend of mine had ordered 3 crown and cokes and was billed full price, no special. We then asked to speak to a manager because the server could not explain why the extra charge. When talking to the manager about why he was charged full price and not 3.00 the VERY unprofessional Manager "Ray" told him its basically only on wells and crown is considered premium. Basically? we asked, so your 3.00 U-call-it signs are lies?? He would not remove the charges for their lies either! This is blatant false advertisement people! Twin peaks and Redneck heaven, Wild Turkeys competition, are literally 2 minutes away and they have better drink specials, and true 3.00 U- call-its (crown and down) not just specials on wells. Hopefully this review helps some to not be swindled into over paying. Also, to not be as upset as I am right now about having such a bad experience with friends.
   Lastly the patrons of this joint are pretty sketchy. Mostly look like old drunks and alcoholics with no other place to go. Not really a cool place to go for people in their mid twentys like myself and the group i was with.

From bad management, drink specials that don't exist, and horrible food, this place is just awful.  First of all a 3.25 you call it does not consist of a regular call liquor like crown, it's just well.  Crown and jack are not U-call it's according to Ray the manager.  However every bar i've ever been to it is.  We usually go to Redneck Heaven or Twin peaks just around the corner but wanted to try something new.  Needless to say that was the last time we'll be going there.  

Ray deserves to be fired, he's an awful manager.  When the bill arrived and we were confused why we didnt get charged the right prices, he looked at me like I was stupid and refused to do anything to help clear up the confusion except stand there like an idiot.  He did nothing to defuse the situation infact made it worse.  Even on the way out he had his back turned to us and the patrons leaving while flirting with the hostess... Ray is about as useful as a pet rock and the sooner the owner realizes that the better.  Do not waste your time with this place there are many better options with actual specials and staff that care.
