Glass Cactus Nightclub

Live armadillos on the outdoor patio! That is all.

I am used to upper scale clubs from my home city so I was very surprised by the Glass Cactus. This place rivals any club! It also helped that I got in for free due to my stay at the Gaylord Texan. Theres a free (minute long) shuttle service between the hotel and the club.

I went Fri & Sat and both times the bands were great. The second night Le Freak performed & they were awesome! During the bands breaks the DJ played great music too.

The club serves food, which looked good, but I didn't have any. The bartenders were attentive, proactive, courteous. I do have to say on Sat that the girl up front was frazzled probably because the club was extremely packed.

Large venue on the lake. The outdoor patio is large and has great views out over the lake. There are the bars on the main floor alone. Seemed like a slightly older crowd when we were there, but it was a good mix.
