Pluckers is a neighborhood fave with friends - they offer an airline 15% discount, they have great drinks, staff and atmosphere, plus they have the plumpest, juiciest wings in town - what's not to love!?  Bakers Gold and Spicy Mandarin are my personal faves... Bakers Gold are medium wet spicy with just a hint of twang, not the tabasco kick but heat in general. Spicy Mandarin are just flat out dripping in spicy sweet belly pleasing goodness!  Friends swear by the Spicy Ranch, Lemon Pepper and Garlic Parm but I find them a tad on the salty side, they're also a dry seasoning vs. wet.

If you wind up frequenting this gem, invest in the Plucker's member card.  Free appetizers and birthday discounts for you and the "family", plus you get points that equal cash to spend later for every dollar spent.  Happy hour could be better, just a buck off select drinks. Last but not least, they offer game nights and decent prizes like free wings!  All and all, great place to catch up with friends and watch sports.

Not just wings at this bar. Burgers, salads, sandwiches, a variety of tasty appetizers, and a free-flowing beer tap...which is expected when beholding the numerous tv panels installed in this place (like one or two TVs per table...not to mention the tvs on the outside deck). If you like wings and beer with your sports watching event, then you will be pleased to know that they aim to please here, especially with programming on demand (I believe they also have the NFL Ticket here).

We joined Ray P and wife for our first trip to Pluckers. Unfortunately, the moment we sat down we had a bad feeling about customer service--for a slow Sunday afternoon, the place looked understaffed. We had unacceptable lapses between server visits; making us wonder if had gotten off on the wrong foot with the staff. When our server was on deck she was ready to answer all our questions, but she still looked a little distracted and off planet somewhere. We had a drink mixup with three of our soda refills--she gallantly tried to remember which soda went into each cup, but we sensed she was destined for failure. She should have just offered us new glasses off the bat. At the outset, she offered us samples of all the sauce flavors on the menu, but when she came back, she arrived with only half--prompting us to ask where's the rest. When food finally arrived, it took a team to deliver 40 wings flavored 8 ways--and the crew was still a little confused about which flavor was which. We were just as confused when extra flavors came with an extra 25 cent upcharge per flavor.  Why not just build in the cost with the number of wings?

Thankfully, Pluckers fries up the wings sans batter, which makes flavors stand out. I found that I enjoyed most of the Pluckers specialties, including Bakers Gold, Spicy Mandarin, Hallelujah, Dr Pepper, and Gold Rush. Which is great, especially if you're not a fan of the typical buffalo sauce that every wing place offers. I was less a fan of anything buffalo'd at Pluckers, including the Spicy Lemon Pepper (buffalo+lemon-pepper=not so good) and the Fire In the Hole (fiery, but not so tasty). I was also underwhelmed by the Garlic Parmesan flavor, preferring WS to Pluckers.

Many have mentioned that Pluckers offers the biggest wings in the metroplex; I have to say that size is in the eye of the beholder. Most competitors have upsized their bone-in wings (including my personal fave, Wingstop) so I was not so impressed by Pluckers wing size and consider theirs typical.

Speaking of frying, Pluckers also likes to fry up different things on their menu, including their signature pickles, mac-and-cheese and fried oreos. I was rather pleased with both apps, despite my dislike of pickle spears. I plan on partaking of the fried oreos on a future visit.

Pluckers makes no illusions about serving up a healthy menu here; you really have to read the fine print on the salads as well to make sure they're not serving up anything fried with your lettuce. However, if you're in a tailgating mood, then a healthy diet is far from your mind, and Pluckers is a decent place to socialize and watch the game. Worth revisiting with friends and family. I just hope the customer service improves on our next visit.

Look its wings. They are good. They have bura and shots. They are good. BUT! Friday night they had bingo which I thought was more annoying than the neighbors telling me to turn down my Little John. Removed one star for that. Good place. I likey
