Fat Tire beer, but allows smoking inside.

Same old bar local bar, same bar flies, good friendly staff...love that this was where I met my husband. They actually have a happy hour now, woo hoo. If you are visiting Grapevine, be sure to stop by for a beverage. Hate the smoke!!!

Since my first review was deleted I'm re-posting a review to see if it was a glitch or if Yelp pulled it.

Out of a dozen or more restaurants I tried while staying in Grapevine, Wilhoits was by far the worst experience for both food and service.

Walking in it smells like an ashtray. Looking around it looks dirty, dated, and needing a facelift. Ironically, a Grapevine resident told me the place was less than 10 years old.

With 10 years of restaurant work experience I'm sympathetic to anyone in the business... especially servers.

My server had a bad attitude from the first moment and only got worse. She had no clue what a microbrew is, and after rattling of the list of usual farting davidson favorites "bud, bud light, bud ultra light, bud ultra no taste" she made it clear that it was my fault all they sell is cheap crappy beer.

When I asked if the burgers are good her attitude got even worse. I ordered a patty melt with onion rings that was dropped by another server. No check back after the food was dropped. The burger was served with fries. I ate the mediocre burger (not the fries) only because I was so hungry. Had to flag her down for the check.

I almost always tip a minimum of 20% even when things aren't perfect. The service and the servers' attitude was so bad I rounded up the total to an even dollar amount netting her a 17 cent tip.

Wilhoits gets one star only because ZERO stars are not allowed by Yelp.
