First time visit was on Thanksgiving as there were not many option open to grab a beer and watch football. Very local joint but overall was a good experience. Full turkey spread which I did not sample but my friend did. Beers are reasonable, plenty of tv's. Â Will try again and maybe sample the food next time.
Dark, local bar with plenty of seating.
Wow this place is a dive bar and a half...and I don't mean this in the good way. I love me a good dive bar....in fact I prefer the casual low key type scene over trendy, posh, stuffy, and/or chic any day. Â With that being said, this tiny local watering hole embodies all the less desirable components of a dive bar while simultaneously failing to offer any of the perks needed to create a good dive. Â The decor is old and cheesy, the place is not clean, the music is unenjoyable, and the crowd certainly leaves something to desire. Picture a white trash, trailer park version of "Cheers". Â And if you're not one of the regulars, you will quickly feel like an put of place looser....regardless of if you are or not. I've been on a couple occasions and my experiences were the same.
I really wish Flower Mound had at least one good local watering hole, but I've yet to find it.
