Good place to go for after work drinks with co-workers. Cheap, nice outside bar and seating. Pool, DJ and food served in the summer/spring. Food is crappy. Just order fries, salad or something from the fresh grill.
Great happy hour prices. Relaxed, mixed crowd and music. TV's with sports on them.
Bottom Line: Don't expect much and you won't be disappointed.
It started out weird - no one at the desk and no one approached as I stood there. Â Finally asked the bartender if the restaurant side was open and a hostess ambled out. Â She sat me - very nice lady and said a server would appear. Â Asked for water - no water came. Server not forthcoming...when he did appear he was not real into the take your order thing. Â I ordered and things started looking up! Â Great crab soup and the best fries I have had in a long time. Â Asked for water. Â No water. Â Dinner came - what a mess. Â Fish was overly salted, shrimp were petrified and veg was not fit to feed a pig. Â The crab cake was fantastic. Â Huh? Â How can they hit it so well on some things? Â Still no water. Â Finally got water and my bill. Â Server left and so I took bill up to the cashier - scared the hostess - evidently she doesn't do that - server finally came over and checked me out. Â If I wasn't forced to eat here because I am staying at the hotel I would never come back here again.
Review Source:My chicken burger was dry and burned. Â Fries overly salted. Â Check was not picked up for 15 minutes. Â The bar is just full of classless testosterone pumped dudes watching sports which might be typical of most hotels, but the cops had to be called when a few guys got drunk and/or belligerent. Â The area smelled like vomit also. Â I have more fun watching tv and drinking in my room.
Review Source:It's a great neighborhood hang out spot!  I absolutely love the Crab Dip.  They give a really good  portion and top it with a bunch of lump crabmeat!  The spot has a very chill atmosphere.  Everyone is friendly and with the same goal of having fun.  Karaoke is on point and the DJ is pretty good with playing good music.  They also have an outside area which is really great for a hot summer night!
Review Source:Okay if you're looking for Gourmet food and A Cheesy socialite crowd this is not for you. However if you love pool halls, Karoake Bars, dancing til they put you out and just an all out fun night where anything you have on gets you in the door then this is your spot. Â Nicole is my favorite waitress, not only is she a cutie, she's extremely friendly, personable and very attentive. Me and my friends go often and tear up the mic doing Karoake and I can be seen with my hands in the air on the dance floor loving every second. Their Old Bay Wings are my fav. You won't be disappointed. If you are by chance, hell its no cover get over it ;)
Review Source:Because we were staying at the Holiday Inn, we were forcedto eat at Willy Ks twice. Â So I can declare that the rude hostesses, slow service & overcooked food seems to be their standard. Â The night we arrived my grilled tuna salad was inedible (overcooked & stinking of old fish) & the only way to get our waitress to bring us the check was to gather up & start to walk out. Â This morning we arrived at 11:30 after check-out. Â Half the restaurant was designated for a staff meeting. Â The hostess asked us, "Breakfast?" Â I said , "Sure." Â "Nope, over." She replied. Â "Lunch is fine," I told her. Â "Fine. Â Go sit somewhere." Â Again, it took nearly an hour to get a burger- very pink on the inside & charred to coal on the outside. Â Please avoid this establishment if at all possible.
Review Source:Yeah. It's really nothing special but it's quiet which, for me, is a plus. Â
I came here three times in recent memory. Â Once was for a "private" party although it wasn't that private. Â It was a semi-corporate event. Â Nice space and plenty of room to mingle and drink. Â Nice bar munchies.
The other two times were to chat with a client and colleague and we munched on appetizers from the menu. Â It's really not that bad. Â The drinks ore OK and the chicken tenders, fried shrimp, crab dip and a few other things are pretty decent.
I was there in the mid to late afternoon all three times so I have no idea what it's like at night but since it's a hotel bar (inside a Holiday Inn), my guess is that it's not that crowded.
We came here 12/27/2009 to watch the Redskins/Cowboys game. The place was pretty crowded, but  there was an empty bar table. We stood there waiting to get someone to bus the table so we could sit.....
The bartender said that my friend would have to bring the stuff on the table to the bar because there was an unexpected party of 100 that dropped in, which meant only one bartender and one server available. There was a manager there just standing around. As a former manager, when you're short staffed, managers should jump in the trenches and help where they're needed!!
It took a long time to get drinks, a menu. They ran out of wings. Disgusted, we left to go somewhere else. It was ridiculous, and will not be going back there!
IT's located in the bottom of a suburban hotel chain need I say more?
The only reason I drop by this place is that it's on the way to my Grad School Lab Classes me and a few classmates meet up for drinks.. Â Its got coin-op pool, you can sit and drink in peace and they run decent beer specials. Â You'd be better off ordering food from BK down the street, and the bar staff will be quick to learn your name while u're there, but for a cheap happy hour where you can drink 6 beers for less than 15 bux it won't lose all its stars, it works for us!
