My wife and I were just passing Saturday at approximately 2.30pm and noticed the blackboard outside advertising various  items and events ,we noticed one of the items was happy hour mon to fri I think 3pm to 6pm so I asked my wife to enquire within,we'll she went in not a soul in the restaurant except a young lady and a middle aged man talking by the bar, no one offered any assistance she came back out ,so I went in to see what the deal was ,well after peering around the bar the same young  lady who was obviously in a personal conversation with said man asked if she could help , I then  asked about the happy hour menu. Well she showed absolutely zero interest in promoting this ,so one has to wonder what a night out would be there if this attitude is displayed through the whole team. It is a shame as we we looking for a nice wine bar
Review Source:First time here was very good. Â Ordered flatbread and it was delicious.
A few weeks later we stopped in after seeing a movie in the afternoon.
I ordered the same flatbread. Â It was awful. Â It was not fresh, more like something left over after lunch. Â Very inattentive service. Â Will give it one more try, maybe.
Short and sw... short. Â Ok. Â Came in for a quick light bite while visiting mother in Naples. Â Was okay. Â Feels fake. Â Like it's trying to be something it's not. Â Trying to be classy without having class. Â Sounds stuck up but I don't know how else to say it. Â
Cons: Â
Where to sit? Â Odd seating. Â Table for 2 or group of 6. Â Not much in between. Â There's a hostess that tells you to find your own seat. Â She literally stood there all night just to say that. Â Maybe try to assist? Â Or perhaps monitor when people get up and clean the table where they were instead of having to ask someone to do that after you sit down?
Lighting: Â it kept flickering. Â There are florescent fixtures in everything (cool lighting not warm... mistake) Â And they are not dimmable. Â Just replace them with warm (3200k) dimmable LED lights please. Â They flickered for 45 minutes before multiple people complained and they just turned them off. Â And the whole place clapped. Â
Piano but no piano player? Â Busy weeknight? Â What? Â
Food/drink: Â I love wine. Â well versed but wasn't in the mood. Â Saw a lot of people had martinis so I ordered a French Martini. Â Was horrible. Â Chambord, pineapple juice, and vodka. Â Come on. Â It had a lemon as a garnish. Â a LEMON!
Had a cheese plate (was so so) and mother had a pizza. Â Didn't try the pizza but she wasn't really that impressed.
The menu is a bit of a mess. Â It's like bacon and cheese and throw in some more bacon. Â This type of food needs to be simplify refined. Â It was a bit... classless.
Waiters, bartenders, hostess... seem to be clueless. Â Needs management. Â
Pros:
hrm. Â Looks nice.
Nice place, great atmosphere, and lots of good things to choose from on the menu. A bit pricey as most places in this area are but definitely worth every penny. Great place to take a small group and lounge under the loft while enjoying a few bottles of wine before going to Silverspot. Had a fig and prosciutto flat bread and it was delish. Our waitress Ichelle was young and professional and kept our groups needs met the entire time even during a busy happy hour kudos. If wine and atmosphere is your thing The Wine Loft of Naples is a must visit.
Review Source:The Wine Loft is in within the heartbeat of the Mercato. Â If you're looking to get away from the noise of other places and find an intimate vibe with a dash of casual elegance, you've found your place.
They have great live music to add to the ambiance, and it has plenty of open seating that lends itself to being social in a group setting or talking wine with a stranger. Â There is an array of couches, comfy chairs, cocktail tables, illuminated bar tables and even an actual loft to enjoy your night with a view from above. Â I don't think that the pictures online do the nighttime glow much justice.
The staff is knowledgeable and shared with us that they have sampled pretty much every wine on the menu. Â I did notice that when it got busy, we did have to lend a longer arm to flag someone down; however, they do circulate quite often.
I was impressed with the wine selection and the appetizers that paired with the wine. Â I like the idea of their cheese plates with all the accoutrements, as well as their charcuterie board.
We had a fig and prosciutto flatbread - fig jam, prosciutto slices, goat cheese crumbles and mozzarella. Â Sound a little odd? Â It was absolutely perfect with our wine. Â As for the wine, we had a Pinot Grigio from Oregon. Â We ordered a bottle, but even if you order by the glass, I noticed that people had a generous serving.
I'm very impressed with The Wine Loft and will come and visit again. Â I highly recommend this place for a girls' night out, date night, or even just to have a glass while people watching.
In short: Â Posh but non-pretentious, Busy but intimate, fancy-sounding menu choices but elegantly simple. Wine. Good.
