Nice hangout. The music was good. Nice selection of beers. Went across the street to the organic burger for food, no complaints.

Stopped by during a recent business trip.  Good beer selection.  They have a bacon beer??  No food but there are plenty of local restaurants that will deliver to the bar.

This place is walking distance from my apartment, and it's a godsend.

100s of beers to choose from with specials practically going on every day. Watching any sporting event is a pleasure to enjoy here, so long as it doesn't get too packed.

They host charity events. You can order food from the surrounding areas to have delivered.

It's booze heaven! How can you not rate this 5 stars!

i had a great time here. the staff was very friendly and accommodating. they were so friendly that it was like NOT being in miami with its typical rude service.

the place lives up to its name. the beer selection here is amazing. prices are all over the board so there's something for every budget. i had a Due South Caramel Ale which i enjoyed with my cigar. i also tried the Red Monk which is a must have but at $10 a pint, i wont be doing too many of those.

this place has one of the most intelligently designed stages i have seen at any bar. the band is up high in a corner. not only can you see them from anywhere in the room but the corner reinforces the drums so you get good chest pumping low end when the drummer does his thing.

parking is underground but you get 3hrs validated with your visit.

Just visited this place for the first time and enjoyed it a lot. I had heard about it and that they don't serve food so I came prepared.. We grabbed a burger from across the street at Elevation Burger and brought it with us. Like who doesn't want an awesome craft beer with their organic grass fed burger anyway?!?!
They had an extensive amount of beers on draft and a list of over 500 bottled beers to choose from.
The waitress was super nice and helpful. She asked us what we like to drink and immediately brought us four samples to try before we made our decision.
I will be returning and would definitely recommend this place.
Don't forget to bring your own food.

Having come from Portland, my expectations are going to be a bit high.  Nonetheless, I found the draft selection here to be pretty good in comparison to other places that claim to have a wide variety (DRB, that is especially directed to you).  The bottle selection is even more impressive but be prepared to drop a pretty penny for a bottle of good craft beer.    Their Happy Hour is impressive for South Florida with $1.00 off pints from 3-7, M-F.  You're even luckier if you're female and  get a pint of a beer you like that happens to be on the Ladies' Night Special (Thursdays) because it's 1/2 off!  An added bonus is the fact that they have event nights like the upcoming Cigar City Brew Night on 3/19.  I'll definitely be in attendance for that one.

I came to this WOB before the new location opened up in Town & Country. This place usually has a great band and is not always slam packed. Good beer and great tunes for a fair price! I love it!

Really it's no different than any other Miami bar. It's just the kinda place you should expect to stand around listlessly until you're drunk and find everything absolutely amusing. You really got to love beer for the taste and not the effects to really like this place. The only advantage to World Of Beer is the selection. And that is all.

Note:  for easiest parking park in the garage!  It only costs a couple of dollars and there is lots of space.

I love World Of Beer!  Austin is getting one soon.  They have a wonderful selection of beers on tap which is the biggest draw.  Ask the staff for what they recommend as these guys are well informed.

Milk Stout Nitro by Left Hand Brewing in bottle was the hottest pick the night I went.  Soooo great!

They have several TV's for watching sports so it would be a great place to catch a game.

Only downfall is no food but there are a couple of places that deliver here.

What a cool place! I loved it!! The beers are incredible and the selection is amazing. Music is great too. FUN FUN FUN.... If you get hungry plenty of nearby restaurants that will deliver to you at WOB personally. It's truly awesome!! Go you won't be disappoint.

This is one of those places that it's quite easy to stay too long, drink too much and easily lose track of time and your wallet.  My only disappointment is that they did not have the Newcastle Werewolf beer - must be a hot commodity in South Florida, because everywhere I went that offered it didn't have it on hand.

There are plenty of beers to choose from.

If you like (love, enjoy)  beer then this is your place! After browsing the menu several times over I just couldn't decide so I opted for their taste sampler. They have a pretty good draft selection and an awesome bottled menu.

Atmosphere is pretty relaxed and the music selection was pretty good too. They have a food menu from some of the restaurants nearby, all you need to do is call (number is on the menu) and they will deliver right to your table. I like the concept.

There's limited street parking but there's an underground parking lot with lots of spots.

A definite go-to spot for beer lovers. Even if you're not one, however, you may find one to your liking. I've seen a lot of girls order the blueberry beer, which, as others mentioned, has actual blueberries in it. If all else fails, you can always order some wine.

If you go hungry they will provide you with menus from neighboring restaurants, including the likes of Lime and Elevation Burger, all of whom deliver right to you.

They have live music Thursday through Saturday, and happy hour every weekday until 7pm. Loyalty Card Night is on Tuesday, College Night on Wednesday, Ladies' Night (and also Military Night) on Thursday.

The only drawback is that World of Beer is a victim of its own popularity. Landing a table is next to impossible if you don't arrive early, and even finding a spot at the bar is unlikely. Crowded is an understatement, which can result in frustrating waiting times. That being said, the bartenders are courteous and they try their best to take care of the patrons as swiftly as possible.

P.S.: There are a few parking spots on the street, but you'll have better luck finding a spot in the garage. This garage may be considered an underground city from how large it is, so make sure you take note of where you park. Oh, and don't forget to have your bartender validate your ticket!

It was during the Heat Playoffs and summer time... This was my first visit and Ive heard so much about it, I was excited!  I arrived early to snag a table for the large group that was joining me soon.

When I arrived the place was almost full and a live band was on stage. I noticed the band was soaking wet from sweat! Then I noticed how hot it was in the place and said "OH no I should have worn shorts flip flops and tank top! Turns our the AC broke and they couldn't fix it till the next day. I loosed my shirt,  found my beer and told the girl to keep them coming. What a selection of beer!

After several beers I began to get hungry! I looked at the menu and noticed no food! The server came over and offered different menus from neighboring restaurants. What a concept! Drink here, order from there! Lime is your best bet, I ordered from a waitress from lime and I went over to pick it up (a lot easier), and while I was there I had a margarita!

Do you love beer? If you answered yes then you  MUST check out World of Beer. The name is not only catchy but suits this place well being that they have imported beer from all around the world. I was able to sample different beers that I had never even heard of till now.  A particular one that made my mouth water was the blueberry flavored beer with actual blueberries at the bottom of the glass.

I spent the night mostly drinking Sapporo because they usually only have it at Japanese restaurants and I truly enjoy that beer. Another one that I tried was the beer with the strongest alcohol content of course and it was pretty accurate.  I cannot remember the name for the life of me because by then things were a little fuzzy. All I can say is that it was so strong for a beer that I felt I was drinking vodka.

THEY DO NOT SERVE FOOD at this place but fear not, they came up with a great solution.  Ask for the menu when you do get hungry and what they give you is every menu, of all the participating restaurants in the area (about 6). The interesting part is that you and your group may all order from different places without any additional charge for delivery. They walk up to the zone you're sitting in and you pay the delivery boy/girl for your food on the spot.

On certain days they have a live band performing and the music definitely ties it all together for me. I will continue to go back to this happening spot because it is simple and straight to the point. They sell beers,  some of the best beers you may ever taste and I happen to love beer. 5 stars!!!

I've never had a beer experience like this before. The menu alone has well over 100 beers, most of which I've never heard of. Everything from light beer to beer that contains 14% alcohol by volume (yikes)! My favorite beer was some sort of Blueberry Beer that tasted like Blueberry Muffins and actually contained....you guessed it - BLUEBERRIES!!!

The average cost per beer is $6-8. Very affordable considering the experience.

This place does not serve food however management allows you to bring food in. I noticed a lot of ppl brought Pizza from across the street which kinda resembled cardboard with tomato sauce.

I went on a Sunday which was perfect for football games. There's enough TVs to keep someone with A.D.D miserable. This place is a man's cave on steroids!!!

    Packers fans unite.

Was there for the Thursday night game Bears @ Packers and there was a decent turnout for Packers fans. Let's keep that going. Would love a cool place, and WoB is definitely a cool place, to have a few beers and enjoy Packer games.

This place has a great selection on tap and even more in bottled beers. Lots of seasonal stuff available too. They also have menus from nearby restaurants that will deliver right to your seat. The staff was pretty friendly and attentive. The live music was also nice and did not overwhelm your conversation.

Get there early for games or in general. It was pretty full on a Thursday night.

Perhaps, somewhere, there's a galaxy awash with worlds of beer. Planets populated with rivers of Yuengling, PBR showers, Guinness bottles sprouting from the ground. But until we discover such a shangri-la, I can live with the myriad of options offered by Miami's own World of Beer.

And a whole new world this brew den is! Seriously. With 500+ suds to select and the staff more than happy to help us decide - we were happy little alkies.

I dig my beer, but first and foremost I'm a cider chick, so I was stoked to have so many options of the sweet stuff. A rare find indeed. I taste-tested several selections, and finally stuck with Woodchuck raspberry.

The atmosphere is college casual and the crowd, chill. You can have food delivered from a number of local eateries, so you can occupy your barstool all night long while staying fed and watered.

What's not to love about this little planetary wonder?

I don't understand why everyone is so bananas about this place. It seems easier to flag down a plane when I'm stranded on an island than it was to get a waitress to take my order! They DO have a great beer selection, but so does DRB in Downtown and I don't have to carry a megaphone to get some attention. The rewards program is NOT as awesome when you actually calculate how much you're spending.

    Let's break it down:
Assuming you purchase $5 beer every time you go (conservative assumption), and you drink 500 beers to get your $250 bar tab. $5 x 500 = 2500, which means you get 10% back. You can probably get better rewards from a Discover credit card. Not to mention (assuming you drank 7 different beers a week only at World of Beer), it would still take you approximately 17 months to reach 500 beers.

If you want to try a crazy beer selection and don't feel like driving downtown to DRB, then this is the place you wanna go. (Or if you have low self-esteem and love to be neglected by your waitress)

Hell yes - love this place!

Chill and relaxed atmosphere, a hell of a selection of beer, and I love that it's 21+ after 7pm (no offense to the youngins)!  Their menu is so well organized and informational, too.  You shouldn't have any trouble picking out the type of craft you're craving that night!

Plus, having food delivered right to your table from other local places is so convinient.

    Do it!

Wow that's a lot of beers.

While visiting my sister in South Florida, she brought me here. I am not the greatest fan of beer, but when I saw the menu, I knew I could find something I liked. I honestly cannot tell you what I ordered, but I will say that the server was very helpful when helping me decide. I narrowed it down to maybe 3 or 4 and she told me which one was the most popular.

They actually do not have bar food here! They order from restaurants around and the servers from those restaurants take your order, bring you your food, and you pay right on the spot whether via cash or credit!

Great atmosphere for sporting events and/or live music. Luckily, I got a little taste of both with the NBA finals playing and a live band when I visited.

    Bottom Line:
No complaints about the service and/or cleanliness. Usually you think beer/bar you think sticky floors and sticky tables. World of Beer is none of that! So they get my two thumbs up for cleanliness.

The food ordering system is kind of out of this world, but hey, you get your food without having to leave your table.

Definitely a place to check out if you are a lover of beer!

How have I not written about this place already!?? Okay, beer lovers here's the breakdown.....

    *Over 500 beers
    *Live music
*Food delivered to your seat from almost all the restaurants around downtown Dadeland
*A bunch of TVs around the bar for all you sports loving fanatics
*Rewards program (apply for the WOB card) and you can rack up points every time you go

How can you go wrong with this place? I absolutely love WOB! Definitely get there early if you want a seat especially Thursday-Saturday. Another great thing at WOB is their daily specials. They always have a special going on everyday of the week. FYI Thursdays ladies get half off on selected draft beer that rotate every week. I also know Mondays is their "in the biz" night.

I'm in love with this place!! Finally a place in Miami where the people that work there actually know their beers and are able to recommend off the wall brands that I've never heard of before based on my taste, and get it right every single time! I usually tend to go drinking there in the middle of the afternoon (don't judge me!) and it's not busy so I can actually have a conversation with the bartender about beers, sports or various other things. I think that kind of interaction is what is missing from most bars in Miami. It kind of tends to fade away when they get busy in the evenings...but I guess that's understandable.

They have hundreds and hundreds of beers from all over the world, so they are bound to have something that fits your taste buds.

What's that you say? You're hungry? Well that's not a problem...they have the menus from the adjacent restaurants (Lime, Elevation Burger, Chilis) and you can call them up and place an order and they will bring it over to you. That's right...you don't even have to get your butt up off that barstool! Just sit back and enjoy that frosty brew :)

If you fancy yourself a well rounded beer drinker, you should look into their loyalty card. The more you drink, the more free stuff you get.

Disclaimer: I am not a beer drinker...BUT my friends are...therefore I must say this place has many options to choose from..I mean..the beer selection is quite massive.
Nice atmosphere, cool tunes...Def a great addition to the South...since there's really not much going on around that part of town. Try it!

This place is my favorite bar in all of Miami.
I never used to like beer until I came here, they helped me find one I like.
The staff is super friendly and they remember you if you're a regular (the cute bartender always smiles at me and remembers my name and I think thats awesome). They're also super knowledgeable and can recommend you anything and can answer even the most specific questions.
The draft menu changes weekly but never disappoints. That sucks for someone like me who is considerably picky but its okay, if you have an open mind then you're golden.
They don't serve food but the places around WoB will deliver to you without a problem (I recommend Lime, the fish tacos are sexy)
Wednesdays is WOB U, 1/2 off all drafts with a student ID. Obviously thats the best deal ever.
If you park in the garage they can validate your parking and you park for FREE!
    Highly recommend this place.

This place is awesome!! Love the selection of craft draft and bottled beers. On my endless quest of brews.....this has got to be one of the better places in the kendall area!! Great indoor and outdoor seating with big screen tv's. Best place to watch a game.
Local restaurants deliver food right to your table.....greatest thing ever. No matter what your craving it's near by.

This place is awesome! A menu for drafts ad a menu for bottles! The servers are literally trained (tests and all) on the different beer selections, so if you can't make a decision and you have already sampled some drafts, just ask...they will narrow it down for you. If you like the glass your drinking from, you can even purchase it, I promise you, you will want to.
They don't serve food but the restaurants that are around do come by to take orders and serve you without you having to leave your table.
    Will be back...probably this weekend!!

This place is pretty damn cool.

I've heard so much about it ever since it opened but never managed to go until last night. I arrived at around 8PM, luckily my friends had gotten there earlier and managed to get us a table. (There was a Heat game later.)

I really really liked this place! I read a bunch of their little fliers for all the specials they offer and their rewards programs. They even have a "Yappy Hour" where I can bring my dog, sit outside and get $1 off Dog-related brews. Luckily, I'm a huge Dogfish Head fan. And Turbodog is great too.

Anyway, since this place doesn't serve food, they let you order from all the places around here. I flagged down a Lime server and she brought me my favorite, the Queso Burrito. Awesome!

They offer a great selection here. I actually ordered cider last night for the first time. It was pretty delicious.

I'll definitely come here again. I live like 10 minutes away.

Also, I paid $11 something for a beer (Indica IPA) and a cider. Not bad.

Just an update from my previous review. This is not about the place. The place is awesome. This is about the crowd. If you come after work (5pm - 9pm) its chill, not too bad. After 9pm, its starts getting crowded. On Friday after 10pm, its packed so be warned. Depending on the type of atmosphere you want will dictate when you want to come.

Also....1/2 students & FACULTY (that is awesome!!!) on Wed.

Visited on a Friday night around 9pm, very crowded but not to bad. The crowd was mostly 21-40 yr olds, band was playing, pretty good music. No seating available, but crowd was always shifting in and out, so seating wasn't that bad to acquire after a couple of minutes of waiting.
Our group decided to sit in the outside patio, they have chairs and lounge sofas. Waitress was great, very helpful and knowing all the beers offering samples for all the ones we questioned.

I really did enjoy the atmosphere, but one downfall and a reason I may not return, around 10 minutes to midnight, they advise all the customers sitting outside that they are closing the tabs and we have the option to reopen them inside. They need to do this because they are located under condominiums and cannot be outside. (great place to put a bar!--FAIL!)

I am not treating this place as my go to spot for incredibly attentive bartenders or value or even seating capacity. All of that is very poor, actually... But this place does exceed in Wednesday night College Night. Bring your college ID and get certain drafts half off, along side the monthly special brew which will run you around $3.50.

The vibe was great, as dadeland does a good job of filtering out the college punks and leaving just the adventurous that create a good vibe.

But I don't see myself coming here on any other night, honestly.

Hands down the most overwhelming bar you'll go to, but that isn't necessarily a bad thing. They literally have every beer imaginable and while it doesn't have that authentic, intimate feeling that a typical bar has, it does offer up some rather impressive items on draft and in bottle form.

The service inside is not that good, in fact it's pretty bad. I would recommend sitting outside only because there seems to be more attention given to the tables. The beer is reasonably priced, though some imports and Belgium ales are a little higher than they should be. No food option here but you can order from any place in the Promenade or even Direct From Philly which delivers free of charge.

World of Beer probably deserves five stars for single-handedly reviving the moribund concept of "Downtown Dadeland." A few drives by on recent evenings attest to the fact that this place has become popular quickly. As I really do not like big standing-room crowds with my beer, I went on a Sunday late afternoon in the hopes that the place would be a bit more chill. It was. I'd say it was about a third-full, inside and out. It felt comfortable, and immediately similar to the other World of Beer location I've been to, in Coconut Creek. That one is a bit larger, though, with much more inviting outside seating, and I also have to say that I like the crowd up there better.

Enthusiastically offered by the bartenders and servers, the standard WOB menu book must seem quite overwhelming to those new to the craft beer scene. I think they expected me to jump up and down in a little happy dance when they explained it. It was cute, and I'm sure many will appreciate the menu guidance. I think they thought I looked confused, but in reality, I was just scanning pages looking for stuff I'd not had before and wanted to try. I'm sure they will become a bit more attuned to who wants/needs help.

It just opened, so I can't be too critical of this, but I'm hoping they get more specialty kegs and bottles in. Don't get me wrong, there is plenty of highly rated beer here, but as of yet, not many novel drafts to get a beer geek excited. But again - it just opened.

All things considered, WOB Dadeland probably just became one of the better bars south of Sunset Dr, an entire half of the county that definitely could use upgrades to its imbibing options.

As with other WOBs, you are free to order food from nearby restaurants and eat it inside. Right now, there isn't much of anything worthwhile beyond Lime, but here's hoping that that too may change for the better as Downtown Dadeland becomes more commercially viable.

I want to love World of Beer, for the obvious reason: few places have as thorough a selection of beer as this place does.  But sadly, I cannot.

One star for overall experience.  Extra star added because I cannot take away from the fact that you're ordering out of a beer book, and that's awesome.

I don't like that it feels like the Disney World of craft beers.  Does it feel a little fake to anyone else? Even as I ask this, I'm not entirely sure of what I mean, but I just don't get a genuine bar vibe here.

Service is awful.  Scenario 1: Order a beer, get the wrong beer poured by waitress, tell her it's not what you ordered, and you'll spend 20 minutes trying to convince her that YOU DON'T WANT THAT BEER, YOU HAVE NO INTENTION OF DRINKING THE BEER, SO PLEASE TAKE IT BACK (while she tries to convince YOU to keep it). Scenario 2: Order a beer, wait 20 minutes, never get your beer. and by that point, you don't want it anymore.

There was a leak in the women's bathroom, which, when brought to the attention of our waitress, was handled like this "oh. my manager is over there (points), you can go tell her"

Crowd? Kinda douchey.  The only thing that has made my two visits to this place enjoyable is the fact that I was there with good company.

599 bottles of beer on the wall, 599 bottles of beer.... take one down, pass it around....

That's right... your eyes do not deceive you.  World of Beer has more than 500 different kinds of beer; 40 on tap!  Their beer menu is damn near 20 pages long!

And that's not even the best part... It's not a $9 beer place (unless you want it to be)  You can get a great pour for around $4... sometimes even less.  World of Beer has lots of discounts and happy hour specials.  Woohoo!

This place is awesome. It's super cheap, they have a ton of beers, and you can order food from the places all around it.  The have the food menus of like 8 or 9 restaurants in that area, like 20 draft beers, and around 500 bottled beers. The servers are all super nice and knowledgeable about the beers they serve, as are the servers from the other restaurants that go take your order.

Love it and will be returning very soon.

My fellow Yelper Patrick L. Would go into a cataclysmic Hopp's heart attack over this place. Patrick would be in beer nirvana. I say this as I drink my Black & Tan.

World of Beer (WOB) is just that, BEER! And, what an array it is. WOB as frilly as it's strictly no frills. Meaning no food, beer yes and lots of it, but food is non-existant.

Service here, well it's outstanding, need I say more. But, I must digress as I'm still drooling over the pretty bottles with bubbles and dare I say al-kee-hol in it. Prohibitionists would hate this place.

    Now for the important stuff:
Prices: not that bad, there beer menu is 17 pages, so they have everything for the Mitt Romney's of the world, to the Joe the plumbers. But, plumbers do make a lot.

Food: we'll you can order from the outside restaurants, kinda neat, but kinda not.

    Music: Excellent, most excellent.

Parking: ok it sucks, not there fault, blame the area.

World of Beer rocks plain rocks, it's a must place to go!!!!!
