I was looking forward to visiting this place since I was told that they had the best wings in Warner Robins. Â The wait staff was awesome, some great tunes going on, and since every booth had a TV, I chose one that had the Braves playing. Â Even though it was a repeat and I knew they lost, it was still better than the other programs. Â I grabbed a black and tan since they do have quite an extensive line of beers available at the bar and began going over the menu. Â I ordered the chicken wing lunch special which was a pretty good deal and included 8 wings, fries, and celery. Â I made a special point of asking for my wings with the hottest sauce on them that was available and to my disappointment, they came out pretty ordinary. Â So I don't know if I didn't enunciate my request clear enough or what but I grabbed a bottle of hot sauce on the table to give them a little heat. Â So yeah, it was good but for them to advertise 17 sauces and not have one that would really light me up? Â Not cool.
Well, I stand corrected. Â The Buffalo XIII was pretty killer. Â I think I had a new waitress or something my first time there. Â Definitely better than BWW up on Watson, comparibly more to Wild Wing Cafe up in Macon.
Great affordable food, great staff and competent bar. Â Booths have their own personal TV's great for a group of sports buddies to get a pitcher or two and some wings, watch the game and enjoy the atmosphere. Â Hostess seems always happy to see you and sit you wherever you want. Service is pretty quick, too.
Review Source:To the person that said the wings are disgusting. You shouldn't eat wings. This place has insanely good wings. Considering they are one of 30 companies invited to the wing off in Buffalo, NY every year. However, I have had my fair share here that are not up to par, but asking them to make me a fresh batch is generally a quick fix.
I think the owner needs to get rid of everyone except the guy that does the magic tricks!! He's fun, friendly and the kids love him as well. There is one or two god bartenders, one male, one female.
The two years we spent in GA we probably ate there 30 times minimal. I would say 25 times were exceptional. Usually the staff seems cracked out or hungover. Either way, it was very annoying.
Our personal favorite was the Asian style bone in wings. Made fresh they are crunchy, tangy and fall off the bone. The ranch and blue cheese sauces are worth going for on their own!!! I give this place an A- overall on the average experience.
As a restaurant I rate this barely a 2-star; food is just decent and service has been horrible...but as a sports bar this place is GREAT! Â Ton's of different beers on tap from domestic to hard to find (for middle Georgia) imports. Â Fully stocked bar. Â The place literally has TV's everywhere...each booth has it's own not to mention the 6 or so hanging from the walls in the bar section.
The major downside is that on Sundays the place doesn't serve alcohol; so this place is best during college football season when you've got games all day long on Saturday.
I really like WoW Cafe! Â The atmosphere is nice, especially when a sporting event comes on. Â I highly recommend you try out a shrimp quesadilla with Thai Paradise sauce on it (caution slightly spicy)! Â They have good beer specials and they serve beer by the pitcher. Â They have a large selection of beers on tap as well as in the bottle. Â The wings are a little bit on the small side, but they have some really good sauces. Â They even have TV's in the booths and if my son is with me we throw on Spongebob and he is entertained!
Review Source:Wish I found this place the first day I showed up in town... Â The best beer selection I found in Warren Robins, about 20 beers on tap and another 30 or so bottled. Â They have $2 bottle specials of their overstock with some really fantastic beers like Dogfish 90 Minute IPA- doesn't even sell that cheap in a store. Â Had the buffalo wings, great tasting and good sized. Â Lots of different sauce options.
Our bartender was really great and was patient with all our questions about the beer and gave us a few samples. Â Came on a Thursday night, was pretty crowded since it was trivia night. Â Be warned that this trivia night includes physical challenges as well (paper airplane competition, banana eating, etc.) Â Prize for winning each round was a free pitcher of domestic. Â Bubble walls are awesome.
Great wings. Â Best I've had in a minute. Â The bubble wall display did relax me. Â The tv's at most booths was cool. Â They advertised fresh not frozen wings and I could actually tell they were fresh. Â I had the Italian wings and tried the Lemon Pepper (too lemony for my taste) and they were both delish. Â The ranch was great. Â Will definitely go back!
