Great Food , Super Fast And GOOD PRICES!
First let me say that I've had plenty of sushi in my day, across the country. Eaten here about 6 times, every time ordering something new. Honestly, I've been really impressed. They're always fresh. I've never waited longer than 10 mins for even large take out orders! Â The dining room is clean and modern. Presentation of their special rolls are sleek and professional. The Chinese options taste great and are even more affordable. Shakes are pretty good too. If you live in the area don't miss out!!
This is our second time to Yummy and we love it. Â This is not your hole-in-the wall Chinese place. Â The decor is modern and classy. Â The food is plentiful and has a light taste (not greasy and heavy like other Chinese restaurants.) Â I love that I can enjoy sushi and Chinese food at the same meal. I also love that they offer brown rice.
Review Source:Tired the food the first time and didn't really like it. The rice was a weird yellow color and flavorless. My boyfriend recommended we try something else from the resturant and give it another shot. I ordered the "brown rice ", it was brown but it was not rice, flavorless also. The sushi was very messy looking like it was rushed. Very disappointed.. Will not be going back.
Review Source:I really tried to like this place but I just can't seem to find anything I really enjoyed eating.
I ordered my safe dishes when trying new Chinese restaurants which consist of Chicken Fried Rice and Sweet and sour chicken. Â
and my my my was I disappointed, First off let's get it out the way we are all used to traditional brown color fried rice and well this one was YELLOW!! and easily very under cooked!! Peas and other veggies were still really hard!! NOT IMPRESSED!!
Sweet and sour chicken was EH! the Skin was not fried enough and it still very doughy and the chicken was slimy and not very tasty at ALL!!
Ordered some Frieds Wontons with beef and that was the one thing I was MOST looking forward to to only be disappointed. Â Wontons were extremely stale tasting and seemed to have been fried in old oil!! just not good!
Def prolly will pass this place up and not order from it anymore.
not good. i had a cold, so i ordered chicken rice soup. it arrived in a nice container, but it was BROWN!
BROWN chicken rice soup??? with weird looking chicken pieces. looked like chopped up chicken feet................
crab rangoon was nothing special. neon red sauce was too sweet.
mongolian beef was just ok, but probably the best thing we ordered.
shrimp egg foo young had that "cornstarch gravy" that turns in to a "gel" when it cools off...ick!
delivery was quick but i will never order from here again!
Nasty terrible. Just ordered from them and immediately has to write my Yelp review.  So mad that I gave this place a shot after I called to place my order, and when asking them if their bubble teas were fresh or powder, she hesitated  to answer. Should've listened to my gut.
Service was terrible. I arrived and the girl at the register was more interested in her iPhone game than saying hello. She kept going to the back to check on my order and everytime would resume her game, yet my chalk tasting bubble teas weren't even blended yet. Pretty annoying that i still waited for my order and not a soul on the restaurant.
Went straight home to try our grub. My shrimp walnut was barely warm. You could tell that they were reheated. The middle of the dish was on the tad cold side soI lost my appetite, wouldn't even finish my food with the thought of how long the shrimp was sitting out, waiting to be reheated.
The fried rice was bland and flavorless. JC said soy sauce would help. Not a chance. You can tell they used a frozen veggie bag to make their fried rice. Gross
He was less than pleased with his shrimp and broccoli, his go to choice dish at every Chinese restaurant. Brown sauce, no flavor. At least his dish was hot.
And yes, the bubble teas were nasty. Â You can taste the chalk from the powder they used from it. Gross gross gross!
Never again would I go back. Stay away from here. I was so excited to maybe have found a Chinese restaurant in our neighborhood but the quest still continues.
Pretty good for delivery sushi in the neighborhood, if delivery sushi is what you're in a pinch for...took 60 minutes exactly from order to door. Portions seemed small for what we paid, but the quality and flavor were there.
I was not overly impressed with the special roll we had (dragon)...again, quality of fish was good, presentation was decent, but the size of the roll was not what you would expect from a "specialty roll" at a $12 price point--was pretty much a standard size roll topped with very thin layers of fish. Seaweed salad was a seaweed salad, but again, 50% of the size of a standard seaweed salad from any other place.
3 out of 5 because they're just getting started and probably ironing out a few kinks. I'll give it another couple of months before I try again, but would not discourage anyone from patronizing them in the meantime. Perhaps the dine-in or the Chinese menu is the better way to go...I'll find out sooner or later, I'm sure.
Since there's no good sushi places around here and I'm not fond of the Chinese places I've tried, I kept my eye on this place as soon as I noticed they were moving in. Checked their site once more before lunchtime today to see they had online ordering (10% off to boot)--sign me up! So what did I get: crab rangoon, shrimp tempura and mixed veggie rolls, and a coconut smoothie with mango pearls (random, I know).
Both rolls were 5 pieces, but they were the larger sized pieces, tightly rolled and easy on the rice. The shrimp in particular seemed freshly cooked and still tender--not tough and rubbery like it sometimes gets. Since I ordered the 2-roll lunch special ($9), it also came with a fresh, good-sized side salad. The crab rangoon was pretty average with a nice savory, creamy center. Came with that standard blindingly red sweet and sour sauce; would love it if they could make their own sauce because it'd be more interesting and unique. Coconut smoothie also average (not that that's a bad thing), but the mango pearls are what really make this--I've never seen mango or lychee pearls on any bubble tea menu. The pearls have these delicate skins, so when you put a bit of pressure on them, they pop open with this gooey tart fruit flavor. Fruit caviar. Weird, delicious fruit caviar~
The restaurant itself looked very clean, minimal, and contemporary with a decent amount of seating. There's a large open area in front of the counter that could fit a few more tables so I guess they're expecting a lot of take-out? Staff was prompt and friendly. As far as what I ordered, prices seemed pretty much on par with other places I've been to.
Will definitely be back, especially to see how their Chinese offerings stack up against the stuff I've had from other local places.
