I stop by Zante's every time I am in town visiting "home". Dollar burgers on Wednesdays could be $12, they are so good. Â Beef doesn't taste like that everywhere in the country, trust me. I absolutely love the patio- holy huge and comfortable. It's a great place to chill with friends during the day when it's a lazy afternoon, and it was a long time ago that I went at night, so obviously, I don't remember very well, but I know I had fun!
Review Source:Upon arriving to zantes with a group of about 12 people we met our rude server. She asked us what we wanted gave everyone their drink and said she had to get mine from the back which scared me because it was a draft beer. (they probably have beer in the back that's my assumption. ) When we asked to order food she seemed so inconvenienced but took our order and never cane back till the food was ready. Where we didn't get plates!! I asked and she rolled her eyes and got them. Did she expect me to eat a potato skin out of my hand?? Well our waitress was MIA we attempted to get a drink at the bar which was a fail as well!! WTF don't they want business!! At that point we were going somewhere else with better service and didn't charge 10.50 for a long island! Were in palos hills come on now! We tried to get our check which was worse then trying to get a drink! It took 25 minutes!! The place was empty!! Then she ran everyones card without showing us the bill! We said we wanted to pay cash!! Terrible management! They are loosing business to the sock and durbins.

I've been to a few birthday parties at Zante's and often meet my friends here for a drink- or several :)
I think you're experience here all depends on what your expectations are-
Of course there will be loud music, especially on a Thursday, Friday or Saturday night- it's a friggin bar! If you want long conversation with friends and prompt water refills then go to Bertucci's (down the street) or something!

-Crystal S., isn't quick service is far better than waiting 15 minutes for someone to come take your drink order!? I can order in a coat...
So I suppose that is what I mean by "arrange your expectations". People come here to drink, party, or grab some buffalo wings after a baseball game. They've got a pretty darn good food menu but nothing that's going to blow your socks off.
I can definitely agree that on a given night you will identify several people who look like they missed the casting call for "Jersey Shore"... so you might feel a bit under dressed if you show up in shorts and a T-shirt on a Thursday night, but that's never bothered me :)
It's a fun party atmosphere; the patio is a great place to hang on a nice night and the bartenders are friendly and on top of it. I'm always up for Zante's!
The first time I went here  was on a wednesday, and since they have the dollar burgers it was a pretty decent sized crowd. Enough people  to where you can have the option to go mingle, and not so crowded where you cant hear the person next to you. I love how it looks inside. When the dj plays his songs he plays the music video to the song on the tvs and i think that that's very cool. Also sometimes they have life sized jenga which is always fun. The waitress I had was very nice.
Review Source:I was here for a private party on a weekend during the day. Luckily, it was super nice out, so all the windows were open in the outdoor area that we had all to ourselves. The bartender was quite on the job and very personable. The hostess picked the food, which was super-large appetizer platters. The appetizers were served hot and fresh, with an abundance of plates so it was cool to go back for more. I think Zante usually plays dance music, but for the party it was more classic rock, which was cool.
Review Source:Zante is a nice place. Â I went because it was recommended to me on a Wednesday, which is burgers for $1. Â I was like wow burgers for $1, the whopper at Burger King isn't that cheap anymore. Â Let me tell you that the burger was off the chain!!! Â It was a huge half pound charbroiled burger with all the condiments and fixings. Â It was very fulfilling. Â The waitress was nice and very attentive. Â I didn't go to drink alcohol, but it the bar area looked decent. Â If your ever in the mood for a good burger, Zante is the place to go.

Right away the waitress is asking us if we want a drink, literally as I am taking my winter coat off and trying to find a seat. I thought it was weird, so I said "Can't I get my coat off and sit first?". She promptly came back and took our drink order. They are a Martini Bar so they have a cute menu of about 20 Martinis, plus your regular bar stuff. The place is a decent size, decor/vibe wasn't terrible and since we were early we had plently of time to chat and catch up. Our two friends met us about a hour later and they too are asked what they want to drink before they get their coats off! Hahahahaha....they never learn!
Anyway, about 9:30pm a dj takes over what was a jukebox. It gets loud and then......"The Jersey Shore types" walk in. That made for about a hour of us trying to hear each other talk and people watcing. We then left.
Overall.....I don't hate the place, but I come no where near loving it.
Some words of advice for Zante:
1) Despite what you may think (and how is this possible!), a panini is not the same as a wrap. Â One is on bread and grilled, the other is *wrapped* in a tortilla.
2) Despite what you may think (and how is this possible!), if you have to seat us near the speakers, we do not want loud music blaring through it. Â Regardless of whether or not we like the music, we shouldn't have to shout to each other nor should we have to risk damaging our hearing.
3) Despite what you may think (and how is this possible!), if someone has an empty water glass in front of them, they're not waiting for you to take the glass from the table. Â They want some damn water.
Some of this is to blame on our waitress that night for sure, but the restaurant is the one doing the hiring.
I LOVE Zane's! I started going their not too long after it opened. My best friend got a job their so I would often go to see her. Since then they built a patio with a bar! Its beautiful and they let you smoke out there until 9pm. I am not a fan of the waitresses that work there now. But still its a great bar. They have DJ's almost every night and the food is amazing!
My friends and I love this bar! Oh and its where my boyfriend and I had our 1st date!
This bar i have only been to once but it was awesome,  I went witha  friend who suggested it i was like ok lets go  drinks werent expensive plus we won a FREE PAIR OF WHITE SOX TIX,  how much better can that get?  it was an awesome time,  good food  FULL bar,  you will have a good time if u go
