-FROZEN IRISH COFFEE is the best
-a nice wide variety of vegetarian and vegan options.. hard to find late at night in Nola!
-some of the food is a bit over-priced. but the quality is good. it ends up being about $10 for a sandwich, $12 for a pizza, or $8-12 for an appetizer, etc. Not bad, but for late night food, i'd rather pay less.
Picked out 3 restaurants to try when visiting New Orleans. 13 was one of them. It turned out to be OK but not what I was hoping for. I guess I wasn't expecting a bar, but as I have quickly figured out most places in or near the French Quarter are exactly that. The staff was really nice and friendly and the place did not smell of smoke at all so a big plus. I got the BBQ tofu but was underwhelmed. I thought maybe they did something to the tofu to make it special but the special part is the BBQ sauce. I figure that a Yelper reviewing this at 2am might think this to be amazingly good, but at 3pm it was average. Glad I stopped by though. Got to see some actual Nola neighborhoods on the walk over.
