1321 Downtown Taproom Bistro

One of my favorite places in old-towne.

The mac and cheese is bomb, the beer selection is stocked full of local legends (Like The Dudes and Monkish) they have a $3 dollar local brew night on monday.

Very nearly perfect.

Nice for a date or a brew with your best buddy.

Taproom gets a solid 3 stars: 1 star for decor, 1 star for vision, 1 star for food. This place is like the distant cousin of the Edison & MB Post. Nowhere near the ambience or food caliber but a good effort. From the 4 times I have dined there, the menu has changed 2 times. Service was mediocre but has vastly improved since my last visit. The food seemed to be consistently good which keeps us coming back, we have ordered: meatball appetizers, chicken tinga, flat iron steak, brussels sprouts, burger, salmon, pork fries & ribs. The pork fries, burgers, & ribs were worth ordering again. I think once they settle on a menu that works for them, people will start flocking.

This place is a gem in downtown Torrance! The food was amazing and the draft beer selection is fantastic. The decor is very unique and rustic, and the ambience is very chill and loungy. I definitely recommend this location. :)
