Tortilla Cantina

Horrible service!!! It took 30 minutes for a chicken quesadilla and 45 minutes for some nachos. We ordered Hef and rather then coming to tell us they were out we went to ask where our pitcher was and then they told us they were out. They're margaritas are wine based because they don't want to pay for a liquor license. My family and friends will never return or recommend this place!!

Found this place walking by looking for another place. So happy we ended at this restaurant.  Very authentic food. Hand made tortillas. Great coffee. And great service.... pet friendly (outside sitting) Definitely coming back...

Today was my second visit to Tortilla Cantina.  I only discovered it about three months ago while I was selling at the Torrance Antique Street Faire.  I had been on the run since five that morning and was pretty much starving when I pulled up right outside the restaurant to set up my booth.  Soon wonderful smells were emanating from the restaurant and I noticed that a small breakfast crowd was wandering inside. I placed an order and the waitress graciously packaged it and brought it out to me.  Nice!  It was yummy, well prepared, and appreciated from the heart.

Today I was not selling. I was a shopper and decided to sit down, with a friend, and eat more calmly.  The food was again very tasty and well prepared.  I had the huevos rancheros and my friend ordered the huevos con chorizo plate. We also had a side order of cheese and mole' enchiladas. (those were sucked up immediately!  The soft flour tortillas served with the meal are hot and fresh and are being continuously made on the premises. The home fries served with the meal were absolutely perfect in flavor and texture and were a wonderful addition to our entrees.

I read the negative reviews written about the Cantina, and perhaps the time of day has something to do with it. I will admit, the waitress seemed a bit distracted and needs a little more giddyup in her step, but all in all I would recommend the great food at a very fair price (we paid $20 for everything!) and would definitely come again.
