I have to admit I haven't been to the 352 Club in many many years but it is apart of my history I guess you could say. My family, aunts, uncles, cousins and even my dad hung out here. My mom wasn't a drinker but unfortunately my dad was. When I was born 56 years ago you guessed it my dad was at the 352 club getting drunk. I so happened to be born at exactly 3:52 am and the next day my mom got a hugh bouquet of flowers and the card read "Congratulations from the 352 Club!" My poor mom was completely embarrassed. For many years I was referred to as the "352 baby!"
Review Source:Deep in the recesses of my fuzzy memories of the 1990's was a visit or two to this bar with numbers in its name, umm, 321? 356?
With a small amount of perseverance, I found this dive bar gem called "352" in Hawthorne off 135th.
Totally old-school set up which I loved. Plenty of room around "one" of the pool tables to move around. ;) Was right next to the jukebox, me like.
Lots of brown wood decor, sloped angled ceilings. A loooong bar extending through the place.
Bathroom was neat and clean (yes, really; I was surprised too)
Great bartender with plenty of personality. She was a hoot. Genuinely happy at her job versus say, umm, a bored blonde 20 something year-old just looking to up your check. I appreciate service without the overt arm-twist. This gal totally gets a return visit.
If you just happen to be in the area from 12-4p, you can enjoy $2 domestic beers. WHAT? That's right "two bucks"
Middle of the day, getting a drink-on?
Hey, we all work different schedules, no judgements. LOL.
