Non Bei

This place is fun, Karaoke is loud and there is a private room. The food is nice and the workers are friendly. Their drinks aren't cheap.

nonbei started happy hour!! 5pm-830pm till end on December 2011!! its ONLY $10 for appetizer + 1 small bottle of budweizer or 1 glass of shochu or 1 glass of wine + free karaoke during happy hour!!  bud/bud lite 2.30, asahi/sapporo large 5, jack daniel's crown 4, house wine 3, cocktail 4!

Only once in my life have I ever did Karaoke and it was here.  I can't sing and I found out how bad I really was with the horrible squealing of my voice in the speakers.

This is a Japanese Karaoke bar so the patrons are Japanese but they mostly sing songs in English.  They have a full bar but most of the regulars have a bottle that they purchase there and keep there until their next visit.  They offer edamame to nibble on and it is a blast to watch everyone sing.

Back to my singing...the other patrons were so nice and polite and they still smiled and applauded after I probably destroyed their eardrums.  

I am thankful I found out that I suck at this place and not some other place where they probably would have thrown tomatoes at me.
