Came on a Tuesday night for a birthday dinner around 930. Â It wasn't very crowded inside but had to wait about 20 minutes for them to get a table ready. Â I think slow was the theme of the night.
The Service ---
Our server was really cool and friendly. Â However, it was about 9:53pm and the late night happy hour started at 10pm so we had to wait 7 minutes to order our drinks. Â I mean, 7 minutes? Â We just sat down. Â It's not like we're on our last round and trying to get the happy hour prices. Â Anyway, the drinks and food came out pretty slowly. Â For some reason, my drink came out after everyone else's the first time and he forgot my second beer so had to go back and get it. Â When all the food came out, we realized one of our orders was missing. Â They brought it out about 3 minutes later so that was good. Â Our server asked if we wanted separate checks which was nice.
The Food ---
I tried boneless and traditional: Medium (it's Buffalo but wet instead of dry), Asian Zing, Spicy Garlic, Wild, Honey Barbecue and Mango Habanero. Â My fave was definitely the Asian Zing. Â Had a great flavor and a little bit of kick. Â The Wild and Mango Habanero are both too spicy for me. Â I was dying for a good 10 minutes after I ate those. Â The Spicy Garlic and Medium were both just okay. Â Pretty forgettable. Â Same with the Homey Barbecue. Â The fries were good though.
The Prices ---
It was Tuesday so they had the $.65 wing special. Â We got 30 wings, a basket of fries for $3 and beers at $3 each. Â Oh and the sauce was $.50 each as was the celery. Â These were all the late night happy hour prices (minus the wings). Â Our total for 2 came out to about $44 not including tip.
Overall, we had fun since it was a birthday and we were all drinking. Â However, it was pretty slow and the wings are just okay. Â I definitely prefer wings at Wingstop but the atmosphere here is good. Â It's always a good time.
