My boyfriend and I were in Gainesville for the weekend and we were invited to hang out here with some friends. Pretty cool bar! They have a wide selection of awesome older video games to play on their Super Nintendos or the N64. I saw people play Tetris & we played a few rounds of Pokemon Stadium. The staff was really really nice and down to earth! The beer selection was very good although I was a bit sad they had run out of my beloved Left Hand Nitro :(

Stumbled into this little gem on the way from Midtown to Downtown.  It was a long walk.. we got thirsty.

Went into the joint for a quick beer.  They came and try to ask for cover. Once we told him we weren't staying long, he let us stay rent free.

Its a divey little joint.  Some band was playing some pop-punk- popular in the early 2000's.  Scared the heck out of me when a kid came up to the bar who looked about 15.  I glanced down and saw the wristband, and X's on his hands. I guess this place is for all ages.  He was coming to the bar because there were 4 TVs set up with Tetris, Donkey Kong, and two other games I am not nerdy enough to name.  I am still a big fan of Tetris - which is why they get the 3 stars. Who else does that? Pretty sweet idea.

Only about 5 taps.  Glad they at least had 1 IPA, Swamphead as expected. After my friend showed up some undergrads in Tetris, we finished our beers and moved on.

Cool place to stop by for a beer. Eclectic crowd.

A dive bar with a good beer selection and that hosts all-ages shows with some damn good regional bands. I'm perhaps a little biased because a friend tends bar there, but the staff is exceptional and very friendly while the bar itself is doing a real service to the community as one of very few places in this college town to host all-ages shows and get a good, diverse selection of bands. On nights when there is not a show, it's a typical bar though often they have video games, trivia nights, and the like. I hope it will be around a long time because Gainesville needs this.

Super friendly staff... good drinks, and video games. And a stage. I would nerd out here all the time if I lived in the area.

Good bar, good sound, good staff, AND you can play video games at the bar. I witnessed some top-notch Dunk Huntin', and I got my ass handed to me by a Canadian with Remote Mines in Goldeneye 007.

Oh, and seeing bands here is cool, too. The venue is relatively small and intimate, and a show here gets rowdy fast. It's awesome. I really liked this place, and would love to see more shows here.

Just went here for the first time as part of this year's Fest.  Don't know why I never ventured there last year, but I didn't. As far as the actual bars go, I think this place was really cool. I enjoyed the layout a lot, there were some good draft selections and the prices were fair. A couple of local friends told me as far as the bars went they thought this one catered more to punks with shows year round than the other bars, if that means anything.

Did it help that I was seeing a lot of old friends for the first time in months or years at the bar that night? Perhaps. Did it help that the lead singer from the band that surprised me most this year was there that night? Perhaps. Still, sweet bar with a great vibe!
