Adolfo's Ristorante

I went here for my husband's work holiday party.  The food was fantastic.  I had the pasta bolognese and it was great.  If this review was just based on food and drink I would give it a 5 star review, but unfortunately the function room demands less.  The restaurant is nicely done, but we were too large to fit there, so we had the upstairs function room.  The table set up was a bit awkward and it was plain.  It just felt like a random room somewhere.  There was no other dining up there.  I would not count Adolfo's out though. I look forward to another meal here.

as an update, the date of posting of 11/23/12 was incorrect.  The actual day of the visit was in April 2012, and for some reason the review was stuck and did not post.

The evening started pleasantly enough, however it was downhill from there.  The bread was some sort of wheat product, certainly not Italian, French or anything else.
The were out of one of the salads. We ordered another and the kitchen didn't  divide it. We did get two plates though/ The burrata was nothing but a soft mozzerella. I've had burrata elsewhere and know what it should be like.  By the time our food almost arrived , after quite a delay, the noise level  was so intolerably loud, that I couldn't stay any longer.  The calamari was very similar to a very strong and wide rubber band and was essentially inedible.  The menu read well but the execution is a big problem,.  I really wish the food was prepared more carefully.
