My family and I had dinner at Al Laghetto last week, and it was stellar! The food was fresh and delicious. My mom had a seafood dish (seafood between two layers of sheet pasta - almost like a large ravioli and it was excellent!). The service was friendly and attentive. It really is the best for Italian in the GWL/West Milford area... Don't be put off by the location, either.
Review Source:Had a family event at Al Laghetto early January and was pleasantly surprised. Not only do they make their own butter and pasta the service is professionally warm. Also, as it is a BYOB restaurant it is affordable. Please let Al Laghetto know Linda Wheeler (the Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Agent) sent you, as I am sure you will not be dissappointed with the quality, freshness and taste of their cuisine.
Review Source:Dined at Al Laghetto for the first time on December 1st and was pleasantly surprised at how incredible the food tasted. Many restaurants have occupied this space and have failed, but Al Laghetto is definitely a game changer. Â
At the time of our visit, it was BYOB as they're apparently still working on securing a liquor license. Â By 7pm, a decent size crowd had filled the recently remodeled dining room.
That night, we enjoyed the lobster bisque soup, the venison, and the Argentinian steak. Â Each was really tasty, cooked to our liking and came out hot. Â
Al Laghetto is absolutely worth checking out!
