Let me get right to it, the place is highly overpriced.
Weak drink in a pint glass $9
Half of a hot sandwich, $9+ (comes with nothing)
Soup, about $1 an oz. bowl had about a 1/2 inch of soup in it.
I went because of yelp and was embarrassed after I recommended this place.
The food was good but I left wanting to go to another restaurant to get a meal.
One waitress was having a nervous breakdown and semi crying while serving. Another waitress was not actually on duty but helping out. Did not see anyone managing the place.
I spent the summer in West Milford and was so happy to find this place. Don't be fooled by the exterior. It's very nice inside and there's a great view of the lake. Â The Spring Mix salad is amazing- the creamy balsamic is my favorite dressing ever. The chipotle ribs are so soft and flavorful. Â All the sandwiches are really good too. If you're very hungry, definitely try one of the specials. Every special I have ever ordered is fantastic. There's always such a great variety. One week the specials have a Latin flair, next week it's cajun, etc. It's definitely upscale cuisine without any pretension. Also, the beers on tap are so cheap - even craft ones. Everything is under 5 bucks! It's worth a trip even if you're not from West Milford.
Review Source:Latitude 41 is an excellent addition to the Greenwood Lake/West Milford area. The owner/chef is a friendly and always asks how everything was... You can tell he and his wife take a lot of pride in their work. The food is outstanding. The steak with Gorgonzola butter literally melts in your mouth, and the seafood dishes are just as delicious as ones I've had in Maine. Some people have commented about how the plates are small, but to be perfectly honest, they are the right size and I've always left there full (plus, you enjoy every bite!). I wish Latitude 41 nothing but success, and I know my husband and I will continue to be regular customers! : )
