When reading the reviews consider that a majority of the people that LOVE  the Alibi is because they're drunk at 4am so they're ecstatic about getting some food. Any kind of food.  I'm sure the Rastafarian grill man sweating away in the back appears to cook  a lot like Gordon F'ing Ramsey at that hour.
I went here at 7pm and found it to be a cool bar, good music on the jukebox, burger was decent, nice selection of beers, sports on the TV and some jack ass continuously joking about ordering a "muff burger". Got the joke the first time Scooter. Â No complaints but wasn't in LOVE with it.
We celebrated my husband's 30th bday here last Saturday. Â It was a surprise and we were about 40 people. They have a great semi private area, great food and drinks, especially tostones rellenos and mojitos. The service, from planning to day of, was amazing and the DJ is spectacular, he made the party a total success and played a good blend and included all our requests. Could not have picked a better place, everyone had an awesome time... Highly recommend it! I live nearby and will definitely go often.
Review Source:I went there last Saturday nigh for a friends b-day. The place was not easy to find because, first I'm not familiar with Miami lakes and it is located in he back on the plaza. But that is the only bad  thing I have said about it. Once you make it there. There is plenty of parking on that side of the plaza.
We got there late, so we did not get to try the food, so I cannot comment on it.
Â
The music was great. the DJ had great control of the place and kept he dance floor full the entire night. The bartender were really nice and the waiter that was assigned to the party was really good an attentive.
It appeared to me that other that the group that we were with (about 20) the rest of the people there were locals that went there on regularly basis and  did not mind sharing their gem with us. I really like this place.
