Very friendly neighborhood place. Â I've gone a couple of times to play poker and it's always very friendly, the waitress gave exceptional customer service and the people are very nice.
Food was actually very good too. Â I've tried to burrito and the chicken philly. Â Both quite good.
I love this bar! Â I mainly go for the karaoke but I get there early so I can have their food! Â Don't be scared by the "dive" style atmosphere! Â I would like to see more karaoke and less talking though. Â I hear a lot of complaints on people who want to sing but have to wait for the DJ to tell jokes and play songs so that people can get up and dance. Â But all in all, they have fundraising activities for all sorts of events, poker games, and plenty of other things to do. Â Think if it as a Mexican restaurant, meets and all American burger joint, meets a sports bar, meets Cheers! Â Try it!
Review Source:The other reviews sum Alibi's up well- it is a small neighorhood bar in a strip mall, from the outside looks divey but it is clean- 2 or 3 out of 5 stars is the best it will do. Â Very clique-y with regulars, if you start a conversation they will talk with you but if you're not one of them you are not one of them, this includes the waitstaff. Â The bar hosts its own Texas Hold'em tournament Saturday afternoons and while outsiders are allowed to play the insiders and regulars can make it uncomfortable at times. Â We were really dismayed at the number of "black jokes" made at an African-American man who was playing one day, he laughed and took it in stride but I couldn't help thinking "what if we started making bald jokes, how would the bald guys feel?" Â Same thing happened to another guy when the jokes started about Democrats, he finally got up and left. Â Ha ha yuk yuk.
Review Source:This place is pretty sucky. Â First, the food is 2nd rate. Â I had a BLT that just looked like they did a Bacon Cheeseburger and removed the burger. Â How lame. Â Second, I think the boyfriend of one of the bartender's was given free unlimited usage of the jukebox and so it just played his shitty Eagles' songs the whole. Â Third, the bartenders have an attitude where they are nowhere good looking enough to act like that! Â No manners whatsoever and just stupid. Â Avoid if you can. Â Much better places out there.
Review Source:Love it! I will definitely be back.
So, this is a neighborhood bar in a strip mall. But, its not the dive you expect. It's nice, the service is good, the drinks are cheap and happy hour is a great deal ($2 coors light drafts). While their menu includes the usual fried favorites (mushrooms, zucchini, cheese, onion rings) it also has a selection of real food as well.
I will definitely be back to check out karaoke at Alibi's.
So from my experience all I can say is if you're under 50 and don't eat at the bar, don't expect much from this place. Although the only server there was pleasant, she also seemed more concerned with her "regulars" that were posted up at the bar which I swear to god no one was under 50!!! However, if you want to go somewhere for lunch where you don't get bothered and not in a huge rush and want something inexpensive and no shee shee foo foo then here's your spot. Funny thing, so the server dropped ice on the floor at our table and rather than picking it up/wiping it up, she just kicked the ice cubes aside and joked about it, which was cool, just was odd.
