Amber Inn

Sh*t Hole, plain and simple; with no-class patrons.
This is a place for drunks with something to hide.
it is dirty and smells like puke.
At the end of the night, a parade of fools stumble up the streets of Doylestown vandalizing, peeing, and passing out.
You are all a bunch of winners.

The Amber is a dark, dingy bar with ugly wood paneling and dirty carpet on the walls (yes, carpet on the walls). The older patrons are each missing a few teeth and wearing Harley Davidson T-shirts. And the younger patrons wear heavy metal band T-shirts. And everyone looks like they could (and would, if given the chance) kick your ass.

But Doylestown's dive bar has a special place in my heart.

A friend of mine has rented an apartment down the street from The Amber for the last few years. And after we play poker at his place (usually one Friday every other month), we walk down to The Amber, and buy some cheap drinks and shoot some pool. We like The Amber because... well, as rough-and-tumble as everyone looks, the other patrons are generally pretty cool people. The Amber is a laid-back bar where you can feel comfortable in jeans and a T-shirt. And you don't have to deal with the stupid kids from DelVal.

DIVE.

Local dive.  Too scary for me to even venture in.
Peek in the door and came right out.
