I used to like going to MDs, however, one of the "friendly bartenders" recently sent me a private message letting me know how cute and fun they are now that they're back open...which is all well and good, I guess...until I click on her profile and see that she left a GLOWING five-star review here (without mentioning her bias) and the same day posted a one-star review SLAMMING the more popular McClouds...which just happens to be across the parking lot.
I preferred MDs to McClouds, but this helpful little message made me disgusted, because that's totally shady to attack the competition without clearly stating who you work for.
It doesn't make your bar better, it just makes you look bad.
Ammirato's Airshow Pub is a great place to visit if you're interested in throwing back some beers. Â Everytime I visit this bar I seem to be one of the youngest people there, but that isn't necessarily something that bothers me. Â In my opinion, a cool atmosphere, a few beers, and some rounds of darts beats a crowded club anyday.
Review Source:A Great place to chill with an Aviation Pub feel. I went here with a couple of friends one night to share some pitchers of Brew.
With a decent choice of Beer on tap to choose from & various menu food items. The Atmosphere is Good Fun. A RoLL of Quarters can go along way with Shooting some Pool and Tossin some Darts. There is tons of Aviator memorabilia decorated and scattered across the walls from pictures, medals and even an airplane engine for display.
I want to be a pilot now and put my picture on the wall.
"A Little Bit of History!" this is known as. Aviation history at its best. Located in the Perry Avenue Mall, this gem has more memorabilia and pictures to see in it, that I can easily spend hours here enjoying it.
Of course, there's usually pilots here to share their stories and encourage others.
There's a diversified menu and the food is delicious. It's a little pricey, I feel. The homemade clam chowder has to be tried, though.
