I have been on a handful of different ghost tours in my life. This one was more a history tour that included potential ghosts. I liked that about the tour, wasn't fake about the stuff, simply told it like it is and how people may have turned into ghosts.
Customer service was great, and I was able to easily reschedule my tour when I wanted to move it back a week.
I would recommend grabbing a Living Social or Groupon for the tour as I think it was a bit over priced if I had to pay the full price for it, but it was an awesome date night event at 1/2 price with the living social deal.
Could be improved by keeping the same historical information, but adding more detail about the ghosts and what they are doing.
My husband and I were visiting Annapolis for the first time for our anniversary weekend. Â After seeing a Groupon deal for this company we decided to try the walking ghost tour. Â Our guide Toni was extremely knowledgeable about the Annapolis area. Â She kept the tour lighthearted, but also a little scary which is what we were looking for. Â We definitely enjoyed the tour and hope to come back sometime to try the haunted pub crawl :) Â Thanks Toni!
Review Source:TERRIBLE customer service. Called to confirm my tour, and was informed that a tour only takes place with 5 or more people, so despite paying for my tour, I would not be able to go on it. Here's how the conversation went:
Me: Oh, well how many are there for tonight?
Asshole: Just you two.
Me: How am I supposed to know this? Nobody informed me this was the policy. Is there anything I can do? I'm only in town for one day.
Asshole: Actually, it's in the fine print. Subject to availability.
Me: Well, will you at least call me and let me know if there will be a tour this evening?
Asshole: Yea
Me: Do you want my number?
Asshole: No. It's on my caller ID.
First of all, that's not what subject to availability means. You didn't RUN OUT of tours. You clearly have the staff available to do the tour if there are what you deem to be enough people. You are choosing to not do them. Â And, they never called me to let me know if there was a tour or not.
You've taken to livingsocial to try to promote your business which means that it probably isn't doing as well as you would like. Here is some free advice from someone who runs a successful small business:
1. Don't give out terrible service like that if you want to succeed. Treat every customer like they matter. What you told me on the phone is "I have your money and I don't care if I accommodate you."
2: Fire the asshole who answers your phones.
Top notch haunted pub crawl! What I loved most was the enthusiasm of the tour guides, these ladies know their history and  wrap it is a bow of haunting tales. If you are in Annapolis for a visit or live here like us, give the your a try it is a fun time. They are great at accommodating group events.  If pub crawls aren't your thing...no problem they off walks as well & just historical events too. During the holidays they have special tours so like on FB or check their website for upcoming event info.

She had good delivery, and was able to provide both the history of the bars we visited, as well as the stories relating to the ghosts. She was very entertaining, and had a way of drawing you into the story. Whether you believe or not, it was a fun way to spend an evening.

Â Not so much for the goosebump action as the fact that every good ghost story is based on facts. Great way for locals and visitors to learn some unique history while getting scared by spooky tales of the town's many ghosts and haunted buildings! We took the kids on the this one and my wife and I later attended the haunted pub crawl as well!
The haunted pub crawl was great, as they say "enjoy spirits with spirits!" And that's what it was! We went around to 4 bars, had a cocktail at each while hearing the ghost stories about the taverns and some of the nearby buildings. On both tours the guides were great; both informative and entertaining! If you're looking for a unique way to spend and evening in Annpolis, this is it!
