This Arby's is AWESOME! Yes, it if fast food, so judging it for that reason isn't strong enough for me, but this location gets it right. It is probably one of the cleanest fast food joints I have EVER seen. I am regularly greeted and told to have a nice day when I leave. They always get my order right, and it's never cold. They are also magicians with the fries. On most of my visits, they are perfectly done. Get a cheese cup with them.
If I were to recommend anything, I would say the #1 classic roast beef sandwich, contrary to popular belief, this can actually be one of the healthiest fast food sandwiches out there (I'm a big fan of "Eat This, Not That"). So it's still a guilty pleasure, but I don't hate myself for eating it. Until I have fries with cheese and the occasional cherry turnover.
So if you are looking for something other than another cold deli sandwich or burger, do check out this Arby's. It's a very clean place and a good escape from a crazy work day.
My only complaint, I so wish that the Arby's chains here had breakfast. Back in my home state of Michigan, many of the locations have breakfast with an awesome ham and cheese croissant. So, Indianapolis franchise owners take note!
Of all of the mediocre fast food chains out there, I am a fan of Arby's the most. Â Their product may not be the most fresh or healthy for that matter, but it tastes a heck of lot better than other places. Â I mainly am a fan of their french dip. Â Just recently, I've discovered that their Philly sub tastes even better dipped in their HOT au jus. Â So every time I order Philly (which is more expensive then the regular french dip), I ask for a side of au jus. Â Normally, it is given to me without a charge, but lately they have been charging for the au jus. Â It's only fifty cents and not a big deal, but if you're gonna charge for the au jus, then the sandwich better be on point. Â And I should get my au jus. Â Neither of these things happened on my first two visits to this place.
First visit, I went thru the drive thru. Â The sandwich was just sloppy. Â There were not nearly enough peppers and onions on it to even call it a Philly. Â And since it was not wrapped up correctly, the sandwich fell apart. Â Also, I realized before driving off, that my au jus was no where to be found. Â After sitting at the drive thru window for almost two minutes and blowing my horn a couple times, did I get anyone to even acknowledge that my order was wrong. Â They did correct it, but once learned right?
Sooo, last visit I made sure to go INTO the restaurant. Â Obviously, I inconvenienced the sloppily dressed young man from checking his Facebook status on his phone. Â He gave me a jamocha shake when I specifically ordered chocolate. Â The employee had no idea that there was a difference between the two and was clueless on how to use the shake machine, much less change it from jamocha to chocolate. Â Wow! Â And he was working the register! Â A front of the house employee. Â I had to remind him, even though I'm the only one in the store, mind you, that I ordered, and was charged for, au jus. Â The sandwich was worse this time, and still was not wrapped up all the way. Â Sloppy and poor presentation just doesn't cut it for me when Arby's is easily the most expensive of the fast food chains. Â Twice burned. Â This location needs a staff blow up, at least the evening shift.
