This is a solid place to go to. We decided to try it out on a Saturday after driving around in the area. Its really easy to get in and out of. It was for an early dinner.

We ended up in the bar area where most of the tables were empty. The tvs were rather small and hard to see, so if you are going to try to watch anything I wouldn't recommend it. The veer selection is nice and gives you many different options, mostly local.

We decided to split a hand toss pizza. I would say the pizza was better than average and definitely worth the price. Everything was cooked well. The atmosphere was nice, however (and maybe this was just the crowd that day) it was a little hipstery. Not exactly my crowd, but I won't hold it against the place.

Overall as I said its a solid place to go, with a good beer selection and good food options.

I have heard from my fellow Beer Snobs (yes it is a thing - check it on http://meetup.com) about their beer throw downs. However, I was deterred from going out there by distance to get there. I finally sacked up and made the trip to Westland. I went for a Right Brain tap takeover and I was glad that I did. I knew the beer would be awesome, but getting free swag from the promoter was a definite bonus. They have a phenomenal selection of beers on tap, but their food is nothing special. They were doing some sort of lobster special - it was a decent price, but you get what you paid for. I also got some guac, which was more cream than avocado and was pre-packaged. The location by the mall is also off-putting. If you are in the area, check it out - otherwise, there is probably something with as much beer selection closer to home.

A solid 3 stars. I have never been to this Ashleys (been to the Ann Arbor one a long time ago, we changed the sign outside to say Ass Pube Happy Hour" instead of Ashley's Pub - yes I know very mature).

I have always been intrigued by Ashley's and their selection of beers. However, I have always been baffled by the location. Westland? really? Just seems like this place would be way more successful in Plymouth or even Livonia.

Anyways, Went for lunch with a new team member. The place was EMPTY. We sat outside, where they had about 10 tables and a fire pit. Although the patio is in the parking lot, it was quiet and the noise from Warren Road I did not notice. They were doing some construction in the parking lot, so I asked the server what was up. She said they are building a beer garden, so that is something I will definitely want to return for!

Food was OK. I got my typical... Cobb Salad. It was not served with bleu cheese. Bummer. Made with iceberg lettuce. Chicken had great flavor but in general it was meh. Avocado ranch dressing was recommended, but not great. I preferred the vinegarette.

Coworker got a club sandwich which looked like the bread was delicious and buttery. Came with potato chips, which were under salted for my taste.

Service was fine - I would have been mad if it wasn't since the place was so empty!

I will be interested in returning when the beer garden opens!
