Back Yard Coffee Company

One of my favorite little spots in Redwood City. Quality coffee, quaint space, free wifi, nice people, and actual parking behind the building. Always a positive experience.

Nice cafe to grab a coffee, do some work, or have a beer.

Back Yard is such a feel good coffee shop!

Super lax barista, open space with little corners to make your own, instruments for public use, a projector for movies, beers on tap... I could see myself coming here for a good cuppa joe and setting up camp for a few hours to work if I happen to be in the neighborhood.

I chatted up with the barista while waiting for my cappuccino and learned that they play live music on weekends and have occasional film screenings (often times cheesy college productions, but hey, cheers to community support).

My cappuccino was slightly underwhelming, and $3.75 for a cup of any drink is definitely my upper limit. But for the quaint decor, unpretentious vibe, and chill ambiance, I would come back for another.

Tips:
1. Parking lot in the back
2. Come for beer and live music on weekends
3. Cute shops and restaurants a block down
