8/10/08: After a round of golf with my club, we came to this bar for drinks and to settle the bets. Standard local bar with domestic beer cans for $2.50 and free pupu's (appetizers). Better pupu's than what I've seen at other places, we were served ahi sashimi, pork cutlet, bbq chix wings, pan fried ham, slow roasted pork, saimen, redondo's dogs and pot stickers (all appetizers are included in the cost of the alcohol, unlike Oahu bars where you have to order/pay for it separately). Beers came with glass of ice, atmosphere OK. I didn't care for the pay per view boxing playing on the TV's (seems like the mixed martial arts is popular with the local drinking crowd). Best part was that I took home the pot for lowest net score!
Review Source:First of all the address is: Â 718 Kinoole Street. Â I have no idea where 'Alu St.' is.. Â
Great place to go for drinks with friends! Â My brother brought us here a few times, and all you do is leave a stack of cash on the table, order your drinks, and the waitresses just bring back the change. Â PLUS, plates and plates of pupus (aka, appetizers for all you mainlanders). Â
OMG, you won't need to eat dinner, because the food just keeps coming and it's FREE! Â You're only paying for your drinks and tips.
Very casual atmosphere, and they have quite a few flat screens with music videos, sports, etc. on. Â And they also have karaoke!
For the guys, you'll all drool after the young chicks that work there...I know my brother and his friends were giddy like they were still in high school or something, tooo funny!
Sorry girls, not much to look at, unless you want to go out with my brother, lol...
