Hale Inu Sports Bar

Hale Inu is off the beaten path of Hilo and quick to miss. My friends noticed it only because they frequent Miyo's next door. However, when we were in the area recently and had a few minutes to kill, we decided to go grab a quick drink there and it certainly wasn't the greatest experience, however not exactly the worst. It offers a steady drink and good service at reasonable prices.

The bar is a throw on the floor type of place with a cat running about that makes me almost cringe. It is that home style bar that will attract its regulars to the point where it hasn't upgraded with the times, nor has it kept up with normal maintenance.

The liquor selection is limited. Very limited actually. However, they have the staples which will be sure to allow you to find something that will meet your taste buds. The service is good, homey and efficient. Plus at the prices, it is hard to beat for sure!

To sum it up, its two stars are for it service. It is a homey bar that you will feel comfortable at.
