This BBQ is made for walking.... right past this place.

Walked down mainstreet looking for a good dinner spot, thought Bandits would be the place, however, we were wrong.

Service was terrible, poor guy couldnt remember anything we ordered, had to ask him multiple times for several different items.  In his defense, he was very friendly and apologetic, but after 3 times, "sorry" wasnt good enough.

The food... a few of us ordered the combos, portion sizes were small. Ribs were very tough and the pulled pork was watered down. The tri-tip steak sandwich was very tasty, however the tri-tip tacos were missing some ingredients! Their famous corn was dry.

When it was time for our check, we made a bet that the onion rings that never made it to our table would be on the check even though we asked him to take it off... And of course, it was...

The only good thing was the music.  We will not be returning to Bandits on our next visit. It was apparent that the management was not present or assertive.
With all the choices on Mainstreet, Bandits better get their act together!

Love this place. Four of us went for dinner on a Thursday night and it was perfect. Prices are reasonable, food is delicious, service is friendly, portions are huge, nice beer selection.

We shared the tri-tip nachos based on Yelp reviews and you guys are right - they're amazing. Maybe the best nachos I've ever had. I had the baby back ribs with rice and beans and they were delicious - not especially meaty but tender and flavorful. They have a bottle of homemade BBQ sauce on the table which I wasn't crazy about, but otherwise my dinner was excellent. Others at my table had tri-tip steak, tri-tip sandwich and plank grilled salmon and everything was reported to be excellent. We would all go back.

    Highly recommended.

Based on what we had: 5 Stars.

My girlfriend and I had stopped in for a mid day bite to eat, and decided to keep it simple with a couple of appetizers. We got the Tri tip nachos, and the 1lb stuffed baked potato.

The 1lb stuffed potato I believe was stuffed with the usual sour cream, cheese, butter etc, but then on top of that it was filled with big chunks of pulled pork that was delicious. Definitely recommended.

The nachos had to be top 5 nachos of all time. Covered with beans, cheese, salsa, sour cream, guac, and a pile of medium to medium rare tri tip chunks of steak. Incredible.

Top that off with a polygamy porter, a cranberry juice for her, and we were set. Total price was around $27 before tip.

Go here, or regret your decision for the rest of your miserable life.

Summer must be staff training time as it took 3 wait staff to get the job done. Food, large salads, was good but I just can't deal with in attentive and bad service on a slow night.

My wife and I stopped by after a road trip over to Sundance. She had found it when walking around during the day so we stopped by. It took them 5 minutes to greet us and sit us down even though there were only about half of the tables filled.  The manager looked at us from afar and did nothing.  When a server finally sat us, we were able to order relatively quickly. The server brought my salad (which I wanted with my wings) and went away.  A bit later the manager brought my wife's lunch without bringing my wings.  After about 10 minutes of waiting and my wife's lunch almost gone, the server walked by and made a gesture that seemed he forgot my wings.  We waited more and after about another 10 minutes my wings arrived at the table very hot.  Kinda funny for something that was ordered 30 minutes prior. As I started eating them, they looked pink (as it was undercooked and rushed because someone forgot to order them).  The server was ignoring us and as my wife finally waived him down, he said the wings were done and they are that color because they smoke them.  As someone who knows food relatively well and the person who ate one that was raw it made sense to tell them it was raw.  The guy argued with me and then came back 5 minutes later and said they were after he examined them further. The manager dropped our check after taking the wings off of the check.  Overall it might have been some of the worst food and service we have experienced all over the world.

We liked it.   We read the reviews here ahead of time about slow or sullen service, but we didn't see any of that.  The hostess was friendly and helpful, which was key since we were a group of 9 (two families).  The server was also friendly and helpful, walking us through the menu.  The food was great western BBQ, and it all came right about when you'd expect.   Everyone at the table enjoyed themselves, especially the kids with the ribs, pulled pork and free refills on the sodas.  My wife and I also enjoyed the hefeweizen beer on tap.

Not sure about the other concerned reviews, but we liked it and can see why it is full and popular all the time.

We had a very large carry out order.  The BBQ chicken was great and about 75% of the racks of ribs were great, but some were under cooked and didn't come off the bones easily.  Otherwise, everything was pretty good and they accommodated us nicely.

As a second home owner in Park City; the one place we take every guest is Bandit's!! We must eat here 10 times a year!

First you order the Nacho's with the Tri-Tip Steak.........never had anyone yet disagree the best Nacho's anywhere. Then my personal favorite is  the Salmon Salad; mind you I love food but between the Nacho's and Salmon Salad I am always to stuffed to eat anything else. Promise myself that someday I need to skip the Salad and at least try the desserts........maybe next week when we are back in PC. They don't take reservations so any night is as good as the next, put your name in have the kids walk Main Street and get ready to Enjoy!!

Best tri tip sandwich on the planet.   The tri tip nachos are also awesome.   We eat here at least twice on every ski trip for the past 6 years.

Although kid-friendly, service is slow. The food was poor! My kids got the Mac 'n cheese, too goopy and thick. Came with toast that was charred. How can you serve toast that is burned?! Bread is so cheap and it's a poor reflection on the chef. Husband got Hickory Burger - served cold and dry. Sweet potato fries were also served cold and had to pay $2 more! I got veggie burger - it was breaded and fried. Not very good! My French fries were also cold and quite salty. The restaurant was cold and not many patrons inside right at the lunch hour. Expensive. Will not return.

Two years after our first visit, and the western-themed Bandits continues to spit out THE best tri-tip sandwich I've ever sunk my teeth into!  They've tacked a few dollars onto said sandwich, bumping the price up to $15-$17 depending on options, but boy is it worth it!

Our waitress was terrific, but forgot to put in our loaded nachos appetizer order.  They arrived with our sandwiches, and she kindly offered them to us on the house - a really welcome gesture, especially since all three of us hungrily devoured everything in sight!

There are a lot of terrific dining options along Main Street in Park City, but it seems that more and more fancy restaurants are sprouting up.  It's nice to have an option that remains divey yet churns out quality "western" food that's fitting for the locale.  Whether walking Main Street at night, or just looking for some après ski options mid-afternoon, do not visit Park City without patronizing this gem.

I went to Bandit's last weekend when I was with my fiancé in Park City, and I must say it was a very pleasant experience. The staff was great, and our food was excellent. My Prime Rib (I've added a photo) was superb, and so were the fries and beans I had to accompany it. The beers they offer are brewed locally and the selection to choose from is just right; it isn't over whelming like some other places in the area.

I don't usually write reviews, but the treatment and service we received that evening was outstanding. The young hostess was very warm and polite, and our waiter Dave was excellent. He was charming, polite, and kind; and he actually took the time to introduce himself and strike up a small conversation with us that made our dining experience that much more enjoyable! The bus boy Colin was also very polite and also took the time to introduce himself and talk to us. It was definitely the best service we had received all week during our stay in Park City.

I've had a house in the area for about 10 years now, and I've been to most of restaurants that the area has to offer, and Bandit's never lets me down. It's not hard on the wallet like most places on Main Street, and the atmosphere is warm and enjoyable. Whether you're with a group, your special someone or by yourself, I suggest stopping in!

Good food. Great atmosphere. We had a really good waitress as well.

Food and drinks were priced right for the area. Our group had the tri-tip sandwiches and the pulled pork plate. Tri-tip sandwiches were great. Pulled pork plate was good too. The only complaint I have is that the food came out very quickly and was warm. This included the sides as well. The food was by no means cold, but it just wasn't as hot as I would expect. Side dishes were good too, but the same can be said about the temperature.

We will definitely be back here. Thanks for the great service and really neat ambiance.

The sandwiches at Bandit's are always very good--better than the entree choices, in my estimation.

I would give Bandit's four stars, but the service is never anything other than frustrating.  I realize that I am not at The Riverhorse or an equivalent restaurant, but the servers at Bandit's always seem to have their heads elsewhere.

    Good food.  Mediocre service.

    Three stars.

I went with my family...we were attracted by the good atmosphere. Our starter salads were decent. When the main courses arrived, 2/4 of our orders were completely wrong. When they were corrected, our waitress forgot ALL of our second sides. My burger was cold, and my sweet potato fries were also cold, as well as wet. We corrected our waitress at least 6 times, which was absolutely rediculous. While we were chewing our food, the busboy grabbed our plates from underneath us. Moments later, a second busboy arrived and asked if we were done eating. We all yelled NO and the man smiled and grabbed my sister's plate while she was not nearly done with her food. I am very unhappy with the service, as well as the poor quality of the food. It's unfortunate that we had such a poor experience tonight with all of the amazing places to eat here.

Just went to Bandits.  Service was awful.   It took 40 minutes to get water.  I had to ask another waiter for our waters.  Even then, it took another 10 minutes.  Waitress never apologized until I voice displeasure. Thereafter they discounted meal and gave free dessert.  The dinner food was pretty good.  Hopefully it can improve service.

I love BBQ joints and this place was totally worth going to. I would recommend this to  anyone. We stopped and compared the prices of this place and few other places. Bandits is a buck more than the No Name Grill, but you get two sides with your meal. The BBQ sauce on burgers was awesome. The pork and beans was really good too.  I am definitely going back when I get a chance.

This place is better to me than Texas Roadhouse is.

The three of us were in the Park City area looking for a lunch place when we came upon the Bandits Grill & Bar. Very good decision on our part to stop and have lunch. Ordered the 1/2 sandwich (Tri Tip SW) which was outstanding. The meat was tender and juicy and cooked just right. One in the party had the pulled port and fried sweet potatoes and they were excellent. For a high priced area these lunch prices were fantastic at $10.99 per platter. The service was excellent. The restaurant is attractively decorated and a pleasure to dine in. Wait staff was friendly and stopped by our table often.

Good for larger families, quantity over quality or average BBQ fare. You can get this level of BBQ anywhere,  skip it in Park City if you consider yourself anywhere close to a Foodie.

This really is "as good as it gets." What an amazing experience for our family. I don't know why people keep saying that Bandits is overpriced or "too pricey" or expensive. Yeah, it is if you are accustomed to the Big Bell menu at Taco Bell. But for amazing food in Park City, UT?! C'mon people! They had a $10.99 lunch special that I tried which included the best tri-tip steak sandwich I've ever tasted, a Caesar Salad, and BBQ beans. You can't get that much food for that price at nearly any popular chain restaurant. I've spent more at Chilis, Red Robin, Olive Garden, Cheesecake Factory, and just about everywhere else. They also had a $6 or $7 sandwich special for lunch that included a whole sandwich and I think fries.

It was my first time eating in Park City and I was fearing the possibility of spending $35 for a sandwich. So you can imagine my surprise as I looked over the menu. Everything was very reasonably priced especially considering the atmosphere. This place is very cool. Oh, and we also took our three kids with us (ages 5, 3, and 6 weeks) and they all LOVED it!

Needless to say, it will probably be a long time before I try anything else in Park City, Bandits is a new family favorite!

I'm not a cowboy and have never been to a rodeo.  If I was though, I'd be a dirty bandit, not brush my teeth and spit into spittoons.

That has nothing to do with this place.  Though it does have a western feel.  Lots of steak, pulled pork, briskety stuff on the menu.

Sides include beans, fries, cole slaw, and sweet potato fries (for a few dollars more).

It's good, and even though I wish there was more barbaque sauce on my pulled pork sandwich (and yes, I was craving vegetables...though the fried pickles were thick and juicy), they did have bbq sauce on the table.

Downside of this place is the price.  It seemed nothing was under 14.99.  At least what I wanted to eat.  I hope they add a cheaper lunch menu.  Maybe one day I'll treat myself to a tasty  steak there.

I was in Park City for a three day leadership conference with the Skills USA group from my high school. After a long day of pointless meetings, our advisers took our group to Bandits. This was before I went vegetarian, so I ordered some sort of BBQ chicken sandwich. I loved it, I obsessed over it, I fantasized about it. I thought of nothing but that sandwich for months upon months. I convinced my parents to take me there again, and they threw a fit over the bill. It cost us $70 to feed 4 people. They messed up my mothers nachos, and my sandwich wasn't as good as the first time. I returned to that leadership conference again the next year, and we went to Bandits again. This time I had given up meat, so I got the garlic bread. I managed to eat 12 slices of it before I wanted to die. It was amazing.

I recommend Bandits if you have a ton of money to blow. If you don't, avoid it.

Husband and I stopped in on a late Friday night. It wasn't too busy and we got right in.

To be honest, I've waited to write this review...hoping that something would stand out. Apparently others found it memorable, while I thought it was just okay. The BBQ was fine, service was fine...overall A-OK.

Being on Main Street the entrees had inflated prices, but where can you go on Main Street for reasonable fees?

Towards the end of our stay in Park City, we decided to try Bandits Grill.  I'm glad that we did because the restaurant has excellent food.

I equate this restaurant like the way Claimjumper used to be.  The portions are huge and the service is friendly and quick.

Since I had been eating lots of steaks during my week, I decided to have the Fresh chicken breasts ($19.50).  It comes with two sides and I had a baked potato and green beans.  It was all delicious.

Please see my pictures of the menu and other dishes we ordered (Full rack of ribs and a ribeye steak).

An excellent meal and I definitely recommend the restaurant.

Food is way over priced!  Can you say portion control.  I rolled up my BBQ pulled Beef in the lettuce it came on and had a little appetizer.  Tri Tip was pretty good but they over cooked everything that the 5 of us ate.  Over all I think the food is pretty good.  But.....

The service is terrible.  Server brought out our salads after main courses were out for 10 mins.  He said he forgot!  He also forgot to bring our second round of beers out.  I had to go find him on the way back from the bathroom.  Basically all their servers were sitting in the back doing nothing trying to do side work to get out of work.  (did I mention the restaurant was full with people walking in the door still)  I'm curious if all of our steaks, tri tips and other meats were done well well because our server didn't pay attention or because the kitchen didn't.  Considering we all ordered our food med or med rare.

This restaurant has a good menu with plenty of delicious and hearty food.  Four of us went for lunch and enjoyed the prime rib sandwich and especially the tri tip sandwich.  We each got a salad as a substitution side.

The wine and beer menu is good with lots of excellent choices at decent prices.  When you're in Park City, go to Bandits!

Had the good fortune to dine on their tri-tip steak dinner tender steak, as advertised. Large enough portion to feed two hungry skiers.
Good beer and OK wine selection. Service was friendly and prompt.

As luck would have it watched the Saints shock the Colts on SB Sunday.  This time we sat downstairs. Excellent wings specials and even though they were very busy service was great.

Lame lame lame... this place was pretty dead, but the atmosphere was nice-looking downstairs.  The service was okay, but holy shit were the prices outrageous!
Go next door to Flanagan's downstairs... somewhat similar atmosphere with an Irish theme instead of a Western theme, and drinks are WAY cheaper.

5 Stars for the tri-tip steak sandwich. Eveything else is pretty good and the price is about right for Main Street in Park City. If you can - dine downstairs in the bar section... its more cozy.

You may have to wait a bit for the staff - they tend to take their time.

Bandits was a good time and the barbecue was solid. The portions were so huge that two people could have split one of the larger platters and still be full. Although seemingly a little on the pricey side when you look at the menu, the portion size makes up for it on the value as you will likely have your doggie bag packed full going out.

We experience good service and the food arrived very quickly, the only complaint was the waitress who insisted that the jerk sauce was too spicy for a normal person to handle and insisted that we smell / taste the sauce before we could actually order a meal with it. I guess at that point it was so taboo we had to do it right?

    Booo.

The place was empty and yet it took a good 15 minutes for the waiter to even come over and take our orders.  I lost track of how long it took for the food to come.

The place seemed to be run like a Duane Reade pharmacy in NYC, for those of you who'll understand the reference.  For those of you who don't, think surly employees who chit chat with each other and ignore the massive lines and who respond combatively when confronted about it.

The food was fine, nothing amazing but nothing truly horrible, either.  I got the pulled pork sandwich and it was fine, though under seasoned.  I had to douse it with a lot more bbq sauce.  The salads looked fine, and were sizable.  But they also came with dressing in plastic containers like you'd use to put ketchup in at a fast food restaurant, which I think is tacky.  So there's that.

I just can't forgive bad service when I'm one of the only customers in a place.

Attended a welcome party for my friend's wedding weekend here.  We had the downstairs bar to ourselves for a couple of hours and I have to say that the servers were fantastic in getting drinks and appetizers to all of the guests tables (and trust me, some tables were ordering A LOT of drinks).  We had a selection of appetizers to choose from (along with a buffet), we ordered the nachos (tasty), poppers (yum) and sampler (greasy).  There was also a buffet set up with chicken, steak, coleslaw and some delicious bean dish.  I thought the steak was rather tough but I know it's difficult cooking/serving food for a buffet.  The food was good, but really heavy...was glad that I had many hours of snowboarding under my belt to burn the calories I was consuming.

If you are looking for a casual place to grab a bite with some friends, Bandits is the place.  I can't comment on the prices since we were there for a private event.

Came here for lunch my first day in for Sundance.  Was starving and wanted bbq, so I was all set up to be pleased.  Outside of the over sized cesar salad to start everything delivered.

I ordered the tri tip sandwich, which came with cheddar cheese, caramelized onions and bell peppers.   This thing was so freakn' delicious and the peppers and cheddar cheese made it heavenly for a late afternoon lunch.  Also came with a side of fries and ranch style beans that were both above par.

On top of that a nice sturdy 32oz mug of beer helped me digest all that tri tip goodness

We went as a fairly large group during the Sundance film festival.  While many people in our party were satisfied with their orders I found their Tri Tip Sandwitches to be of average quality and a bit on the dry side.  Add a dollop of BBQ sauce and the situation changes appreciably.

The service was not great at all.  There was not enough seats in the main restaurant so they told us to go downstairs to the bar where our group was separated into two parties.  They also refused to allow us to order food in advance.  Later, we were finally "allowed" to move upstairs where we were still separated.  At this point the service got much better as we had a delightful waitress.

On the whole its not a bad place to eat... I'm more than certain the Sundance Film Festival crowds tarnished  a decent place.  It is quite convenient if you crave BBQ and are already on Main St... but from my point of view this place is of mediocre quality and certainly not worth the price.

    SERVICE: Great
    AMBIANCE: VERY GOOD
    FOOD: Average

For a BBQ place the ribs should have been better, they have a great assortment of sides, ranch beans, grilled green beans, rice pilaf, fries, cole slaw.  Food was good and the service made up for my kinda over done ribs.  Good Beer - even for Utah.

So we went to Park City this past weekend. It was really slow. Not many people around. It was tsill enjoyable. In a few weeks when the snow starts, it will be booming.
Many of teh restaurants were clsoed for lunch. Bandit's was open.
    We stopped in for lunch.
Thefood was pretty good. We ordered some cheeseburgers. They were juicy and hot. The fries were great. I was completely satisfied.
    The atmosphere is really welcoming.
The service was ok. The order was a little messed up but we lived.
Overall, I would go back. I think it is  a solid place.
