I was expecting 5 stars but it fell short in a lot of ways. Â The space is beautiful and sleek. Â I love the pivotal front door and the fireplace. Â We walked in and the bartender and server just looked at us as if we were in the wrong place. Â No greeting or welcome. Â I told her we would sit outside. Â The patio is beautiful and depending on where u sit, u have a great view. Â Unfortunately, we were one of two people out there and then a couple came and sat right in front of us. Â They kept moving there seat so many times that I asked if they wanted to join us, Ha! Â Literally it was obnoxious. Â Then another set of couple came and sat right behind us. Loud people who don't speak in a volume condusive to having a normal conversation. Â So I recommend that a server seat you so people don't infringe on your space. Â At this time a family and a set of 4 on a business trip sat near us a s well. Â At this point paying $16 a drink, I was not enjoying my self. Â Let me again stress that the patio is huge! Â Why every one chose to sit literally at the tables next to us is beyond me. Â We had 4 bloody mary's and the shanghai'd and T3467 was amazing, the rest were ok, needed to be shaken more. Â Â Our server was slow, same chick who just looked at us walking in. Â We ordered the truffle pizza, it took 20 minutes at least. Â It was yummy but just enough to wet the whistle leaving you wanting more especially for $21 bucks!! Â I was expecting the high prices being the St. Regis in Deer Valley but the service was like Chilli's. Â Server needs to be more attentive, especially watching the couple moving numerous times opening the umbrella, uh shouldn't the staff do that??? Â My water glass empty most of the time and drinks that clearly were not shaken enough. Â MMmm sigh, kinda disappointed.
Review Source:Four of us went to the St. Regis bar on a Friday night. The view was outstanding and the ambience was fun. They were busy and we clearly got a tired/overworked server but in general the drinks were great (mojito and bloody mary especially). We also got to see their nightly champagne sabering which was a fun touch. We also had the truffle pizza appetizer, which, while totally overpriced, was delicious.
Review Source:View from the terrace is spectacular. Pricing is a little weird. Beer reasonable at $8. Cocktails were about $15. Same price as the entrees, strangely. Â Least expensive half bottle of wine was $55! Yikes! Our crispy cod sandwich and grilled chicken sandwiches were good. Glad we went for the experience but probably won't go back.
