We were excited when we walk in. It was quaint. Unfortunately, the rest was awful. We ordered an appetizer (atomic shrimp) and after 30 minutes of waiting we asked our server where it was..we think she forgot to put the order in. When it did arrive, another 20 min later) we were presented with a tiny piece of shrimp and avocado buried inside a ton of mushy batter. Gross. I wish we would have stopped there and just left but we had already put in the sushi order. We got 2 hand roll that were decent but the rest was over cooked rice and less than fresh fish. The spicy tuna on the chernobyl was mashed to bits and had no resemblance left of fish. The eel roll was so bad I spit it out and the rock n roll was nothing more than a bland Philly roll. When the server came to ask us how it was, we told her what we thought then she actually asked us if we wanted a togo box! Needless to say we will not be returning.

Banzai is truly the best sushi in Denver. Off the beaten path, it's a gem of a neighborhood establishment! Service is fast and friendly, however if you arrive at a busy time, then expect busy wait times. This place is amazing, and because of that it can get busy at times. Great happy hour specials and Sunday is happy hour all day! Many rolls to chose from, or special requests to the chef. I have been going here for eight years, and my experiences have always been yummy!

I simply love this place! Tucked into a strip mall type environment on Leetsdale, Banzai Sushi is a great place to get your sushi on! I started going there because they always seemed to have a Groupon deal on that was too good to resist. Tonight my little group and I tried five different rolls that were all very good. We were there during happy hour, where we were also able to try a few appetizers for $3 each--the spicy edamame (great, sweet sauce), the orange chicken age, and the veggie tempura. The five rolls we had were the piranha, the funky monkey baby 3, the shake and bake (my favorite), the dynamite california, and the atomic brock. All of the sushi tasted fresh, and the rolls were pretty abundant. Our server was super attentive and very sweet--I've never had a bad experience when I go there. This is a small place, so it's not the best place for a large group get-together, but it's perfect for a small group of four or less. Grab a booth, a glass of sake or some of the japanese beer, and enjoy good company (you have to supply that one), good food, and good service.

Looking at the dates on the reviews I have a feeling that this place use to be much better. I too had a groupon deal and was excited to utilize it to try out Banzai mostly because I've heard such great things.
The rolls were not that good. They were loosely rolled and falling apart before they hit my mouth. The rice tasted a bit stale and the flavors were just off. The fish tasted good though. And the waitress was pretty quick to take our order.
Now lets get to why they got 2 stars. I'm not sure if it was where we were located or what but there was this pretty strong scent that put me off my dinner. My friend said it smelled fishy to her I think it was more of a urine smell but whatever it was it made our meal not that appetizing. While our waitress was efficient the overall atmosphere was just not very friendly. There are better, friendlier and less off putting sushi places to go to around town. I suggest you skip here and find them.

I drive by this sushi joint every day, and I've always wanted to try it. I finally got my chance, and I was pleasantly surprised. Now, I've saved the 5 star review for Blue Fin up in Stapleton (tastes like I'm back in Okinawa), but I can safely say Banzai Sushi is my 2nd favorite place in Denver. Now for the run down:

Pros
-- chipmunk-cheek sized, 8-piece rolls (at least for the more expensive rolls)
-- Hula Roll w/ salmon and a hint of pineapple to sweeten it up -- need I say more?
-- fast service -- not an issue at all
-- refilled water in a timely fashion
-- orange slices at the end of the meal
-- excellent Steak Teriyaki - the sauce had the perfect texture and taste
-- entertaining sushi bar (if you get to sit there)

Cons
-- ginger dressing for the salad was too creamy and did not taste right
-- Spicy Tuna Nachos - not spicy at all, could have kicked it up a notch
-- Spicy Tuna Nachos (again) -- 4 tortilla chips for $8...unfavorable ratio
-- Tiaoni Roll -- not memorable despite being the most expensive roll on the menu
-- "100 Roll Menu" - my biggest pet peeve of all. Do not be fooled by this. There is a lot of duplication going on here. For example, "ABC" roll will have spicy tuna with avocado, and "DEF" roll will have spicy tuna with avocado and some special sauce. It's almost like they came up with the idea of having 100 rolls on the menu to sound really cool and then desperately came up with every combination in the book to reach their goal, and the result is an afterthought. Kind of lame.

Overall, I will definitely be back for the Hula Roll and to take advantage of their dinner-time happy hour (Mon-Sat: 5:00 to 6:30 pm and all night Sunday). Good stuff, and the price/benefit ratio is definitely enticing, even without the happy hour prices.

This place is the perfect example of a diamond in the rough. It's in a shabby area, shabby lot, small building, very few seats but the sushi is awesome! The first time I went was with a groupon but that's when I got hooked! There are so many rolls to pick from and the sushi is pretty fresh for Denver. I have only had the sushi rolls I figured they have mastered that since they are the home of the 100 rolls! They do h we some really weird rolls that I didn't venture into trying but what I have tried has been a pretty good.

We had dinner tonight using a Groupon. There were about 5 other parties having dinner. There were 3 sushi chefs and about 6 servers, with 3 of them just standing around. Service was fair for the amount of servers they had working.

We ordered the Gyoza appetizer (made with regular thin won ton wrappers rather than homemade dough), Rock N' Roll Roll (salmon and cream cheese was good), Rusty Roll (ok), Steve San 2 Roll (whole roll deep-fried cold and not crispy), and a Shrimp Tempura Roll (shrimp tempura cold and not crispy). All 4 rolls were presented on the same plate. They all looked the same. The server even had a hard time identifying them.

We will not be back. Twice was enough.

I agree with the previous reviews of this place. I only went here because of the Groupon and we loved it!

It's in a crappy looking lot so we didn't expect much from it but as soon as we walked in, we were shocked. It's looks pretty authentically Japanese...even the servers are 1st gen Asians which is nice.

The sushi was very reasonable priced for the portion and the taste. They actually have a large selection to choose from too. We will definitely be going back and it may be our go-to sushi place since it's so close.

I'd say the sushi here is good, but nothing earth-shattering. The sushi menu is mainly focused on seemingly endless options for special rolls - think 5+ pages worth. Being a bit of a sushi purist, I was a bit dismayed at the lack of classic/"plain" options. That being said, they have a good variety of flavors and fresh ingredients. Service was good as well.

We tried the Wow Roll because it was on the happy hour menu and it took me a couple bites to decide if I liked this roll or not. The cilantro is a very interesting flavor that I wasn't expecting. This roll is better with the addition of some soy sauce. The hand rolls were ok - hand rolls aren't my favorite to begin with but we decided to try a couple since they were also on the happy hour menu. They have a huge selection of rolls and we finally decided on 3 to try. Unfortunately we weren't blown away by any of them. The Tickle Me Thai roll was very strange. The sauce was too sweet and the flavors of this roll really clashed with the others that we ordered. The Tighty Whitey roll was the best of the 3 that we ordered. My biggest issue with the food was that the bottom of our rolls were very soggy - either the rice was way over cooked or the rolls had been sitting in water. Either way, that was somewhat unappetizing.

The service was better than expected after reading the reviews on this place. Everyone was friendly and it wasn't too slow.

I used to go to Banzai years ago, but stopped going after I found better deals elsewhere. I returned on a http://restaurant.com coupon and had a GREAT EXPERIENCE. The service was attentive and friendly. There was a cool, family-like vibe in the very clean and spacious dining room. The food and drinks were delicious. I actually had fun eating there!

By the way, I love that they have a roll-designing contest. It's a great idea, and I like how they have past winners in the menu.

This has become my one of regular sushi places in town. It's friendly rather than swanky and the location is well...not what you would call the coolest area being right on Leetsdale, but the the fish is good here, everything is fresh and flavorful.
The wait staff often seems a little rushed here and sometimes drop the ball. Also, the prices are on the high side for the normal menu but they do have a great happy hour. In fact, they even have a happy hour on Saturdays although it's not listed on the website. You may have to specifically request the happy hour menu though.

There are some things I'm not crazy about though. Tonight (a wintry night) we had the misfortune of shivering in a booth by a side door. They insisted on having it propped open and although half the restaurant was hunkered down in sweaters or coats, we had to either shut it ourselves or request that it be closed several times before it stayed shut.
Also, they use these mobile credit card scanners to run your card at the table when paying your bill. On the nice side, you don't have to wait for the waiter to return with a card and bill to sign but on the down side, you feel pressured to tip large because your waiter is hovering there while you enter a dollar amount. My wife calls it the "intimidation machine". I'm generally a solid tipper but I like the freedom to let my tip reflect the service if it's not that great an experience.
Overall, a good sushi place.

If I were to rate this restaurant on the food alone, I would most definitely rate it a 4.5. The food was delicious, you can taste the freshness in the fish, and there is a wide variety of rolls to choose from. Good sized portions for the price as well. This place also has a great happy hour, but unfortunately we missed it when we went.

The service however was lacking. It started out well, our waitress was patient and helped suggest rolls for us. However, it was when we were wrapping up we ran into problems. We had five twenty-something year old girls in our group (none of us obviously dating or related whatsoever) and she had put the order all in one check. We kindly asked her if she would be able split it up so we could pay separately, and she literally rolled her eyes at us and huffed her way back to her machine. She came back with device to separate the check, but I had to do the math for her! She had brought our check out before we could even ask, and her behavior was truly unprofessional.

I will go back because I live close and the food is worth it, but I am hoping service is better next time.

I keep coming back to Banzai! I always sit at the sushi bar and chat with the sushi chefs. They are all very friendly. If the owner is there he will always make his way around to say hi to the guests. Very welcoming. I really enjoy the large pieces of salmon they have served with a thinly sliced lemon. They have an extensive list of rolls and I always order the #11. The Fiesta Roll is delicious too if you like a lot of cilantro. Go hungry 'cause the pieces they serve are big. Definitely get your $$$ worth!

This place has gone way way down. Fish was not exact fresh, using dried seafood for sushi rolls.

Ordered the Sashimi & Sushi meal. The fish was older than usual, octopus was dried out and hard (not rubbery), and cooked shrimp was definitely refrozen/thaw a few nights. The Maki was messy rolled and some were broken. When we asked the server, she replied it was happens and backed away quickly (she knew it was bad). Craziest thing of all, we did not get any Sashimi. Server explained they were on the plate. All I saw was Nigirizushi (sashimi on top of a mound of rice). What a joke.

Ordered the Shrimp and Vegetable Tempura meal. It was so soggy that it was apparent they had not changed the fry oil in a while. Again, the shrimp was pretty dried out.

Seems this place has been cutting back on the quality of the food to boost margins. Too bad Japanese cuisine, especially Sushi & Sashimi, are heavy dependent on the quality of the ingredients. In turn, this places serves up overvalued crap.

I will leave this place to the midwestern gaijin.

MMmMMMMM...

This place is my favorite sushi restaurant in Denver -- hands down! Don't be scared off by the less-than-appealing location, and don't come here with a full belly. This place has the best sushi around, and the most amazing, extensive, roll list I have ever seen. My boyfriend and I spend a good 15 min before we can decide on what rolls to eat, and each time we are satisfied and at times, exalted, by the wonderful fish combinations Banzai puts together. If you love, and know sushi, this is the place to go!

Also close to my place so we checked it out. The sushi it self was alright. whatever we ordered, down part was having to wait outside for 10 mins while waiting. maybe we should come in and eat inside try something different that looks yummier, so i guess over all we might tried it again.

Some of the best sushi I've ever had, ever, and I'm including my trip to the sushi stalls at the Tsukiji fish market in Tokyo. What's nuts is that this place is in Denver. The rolls here are certainly not traditional, but they are incredibly tasty and fresh. The combinations of ingredients in the rolls give them amazing favors. The tempura batter is of a higher quality than your typical "Japanese" food joint. The kara age was delicious, with crisp skin and a juicy inside. I have no clue why some people gave this place low ratings, but I'm guessing some of these folks have never left the plains states and wouldn't know a kimono from a kipa.

I'll always remember Banzai Sushi of having the best salad dressing. The ginger dressing is the creamiest I've ever tasted. So for starters, I had two house salads! I probably won't order their dynamite again (or the dynamite california roll) because it's smothered with a so called "special dynamite sauce" which is some orange mixture that's too tangy for my taste.

Everything else was OK, sushi, tempura, udon. My cousin got the steak and said it was good. The dessert bento box is only special in its look.

So went to this place for groupon deal. I have to say sushi is ok - I would focus on the nigiri instead of rolls - as rolls are kind of uninspiring. The cuts of nigiri sushi are large enough to make it good deal. Now the bad - the atmosphere is just so so and the service is going to be uninterested and unwelcoming. The biggest prob I have with this location is the bill. So used groupon and at end they bring u machine that allows u a choice to give 18 or 20% tip and makes it very uncomfortable! Just be aware of this inconvenience and order nigiri or go during happy hour and those are the times this place will be worth it.

Tried the pooky pow wow, tighty whitey, m3, and dominick 2 rolls tonight. YUM!
3 stars for delicious rolls, 0.5 star for friendly service, rounding up. Had to request water refill -- they appeared short-staffed for an unexpectedly busy Monday night.

Cons: Miso soup was overly salty, some rolls were not sliced all the way through and had to improvise knife with chopsticks to separate.

Definitely want to come back for happy hour! And since I pass this place every day on my way home, it will be hard to resist getting take-out.

ETA: they were very accommodating to my gluten-free and kosher co-diners and recommended menu items that fit their needs.

My wife and I frequent Banzai as it is defintely our favorite sushi spot. The Channel 7 A-List must agree because they are the 5-time defending winners of Best Sushi in Denver.

The selection of rolls they have here is astounding! We never remember which ones we pick...because it always sounds like we're at some sort of sushi auction when we're trying to pick. I just hear numbers flying at me from everyone in our party. Every time we pull into the parking lot...we tell ourselves we aren't going to over do it. When we're pulling out of the parking lot...we always lament "Oh my God...that was so good but I'm not going to eat for the rest of the week now."

On a side note...get there during happy hour (which is most of the day). The hand rolls are PHENOMENAL and only $3 apiece.

I must say I REALLY want to give Banzai a 5-star rating...because it is my wife and I's favorite sushi spot. But I just cannot do it...and as you probably can assume from the other reviews it's because of the service. It has been anywhere from decent to downright awful. I do like the credit card machines...as your card never has to leave your hands. But I do not appreciate the supposition that you are going to tip either 18% or 20%. Although there is a 3rd option to enter in your own tip amount.

In spite of the service...we will continue to frequent Banzai. Love the sushi. Oh my...do we love the sushi...

I had been really looking forward to trying Banzai for quite some time now and when i found a groupon for it I bought it right away! Before heading down there to try it out, I read some of the reviews on here and man were they different! Some people seemed to love it, and others absolutely hate it, making me kind of nervous to go. I'm very glad I didn't let all of the negative reviews talk me out of this place.

The food and service were both pretty darn great. I was expecting, from the previous yelp reviews i read, mediocre sushi and horrible service...along with an apparently odd credit card machine. While, yes, the credit card machine was a bit odd...there was nothing wrong with it, It was actually pretty handy! And the service I found to be very nice and helpful, they just seemed a bit...rushed...which is to be expected on a friday evening for a dinner service.

There was a WIDE variety of sushi, we had the Atomic Shrimp as an appetizer, The Atomic Brock roll which was on the dinner specials menu, the Hulu roll, the Mercedes, and pick in roll. Out of those, the Atomic Brock Roll was probably my favorite because I love really spicy food, while the Mercedes was my least favorite, too much rice and nori. I was very happy with it, and I'm STUFFED! If it wasn't so far away from where I live, I would return more often.

Had the food here a few years ago and remember it being really good. Came back for my best friend's birthday a couple weeks ago, but when we got there, the staff told us they had "lost" her reservation...for 10 people.

One of the employees pretended to be doing something about the issue, but there was never an apology or any real effort to amend the situation. Given that there were two other, larger parties already seated and eating when we arrived, it was pretty obvious that their priority was making as much money as possible rather than honoring customers' reservations.

The night turned out fine -- we ended up having a fabulous dinner at Mt. Fuji, which left everyone full and impressed with the high-quality service -- but I don't plan on ever giving my money to Banzai again.

I highly recommend happy hour at Banzai Sushi.
Happy Hour: Monday thru Friday, 11:30am-2pm and 5-6:30pm, Sunday 5-9:30pm.
Happy Hour Specials: $2 Beer/ hot sake, $2 House Wines, $3 Handrolls, $3 Appetizers, $3 Desserts.

My favorites from the happy hour menu: Poke Hand Roll, Albacore & Scallion Hand Roll, Kara Age Chicken, Wow Roll, and the Atomic Shrimp Roll.

Off of the regular menu, the Steak Teriyaki is excellent, as are the rolls, and the mochi ice cream is a great way to end the meal.

The food is always very fresh, the selection is decent, and the service is pleasant and fast. They also have plenty of parking in the lot. For a high quality establishment, the prices are not bad. This is by far our favorite place for sushi in Denver!

This place is great! Yes, the staff can seem stoic (which may account for some of the negative reviews below) but extremely quick and helpful.
We loved LOVED the sweet corn patties (can't remember the right name) and pork pot stickers.
The sushi was the best I've had in Denver. The vast selections are creative and incredibly tasty. The staff is nimble and accommodating: On one selection, I asked to substitute 3 of the ingredients (don't ask) - they did without hesitation. Great food, staff, management, and prices give Banzai the BEST PICK for Sushi in Denver.

Love love LOVE this place! I had a craving for sushi and some Christmas money to blow and remembered that a friend had recommended this place when we first moved here in April. The prices were comparible to Sushi Den but with so many more options we decided to give it a shot.

We are late eaters and didn't show up until about 9pm. Their menu is AMAZING and we didn't realize they were about to close the kitchen (9:30). Everyone was super nice and were joking with us. We told them it was our first time and apologized for taking so long to order. They told us to stay as long as we wanted and that they wanted us to enjoy our dinner. We got 4 rolls and some saki. I couldn't tell you which ones we got because there are over 100 on the menu. We loved every single bite!

We will definitely be back!!

Strangely enough, my buddy and I had a fantastic time up until the point where the check was handed to us. The sushi wasn't half bad - much fresher than most places in Denver and the portions were surprisingly generous for the price.

Now the not so great. I find it somewhat lame to give a customer attitude for simply using a coupon you originally signed up for. I mean, I've never heard of Banzai Sushi until the Groupon deal - the place is in the middle of nowhere-town and I truly wanted to give it a shot.

But even if the food wasn't half bad, instructing a customer on how much to pay tip (based on the price before the discount) - that's just straight up crossing the line.

Ok, This is some of the freshest fish I have had at a sushi bar. The service was incredible and the prices ridiculously low , even when not on happy hour.

I consider myself a bit of a purest. I don't want sushi dishes that overwhelm the fish or the rice, so more often than not I order simple rolls. I do love shiso. It's my latest love in flavor. The "shiso pretty" roll hit all of the notes on balance, flavor and texture without overwhelming the fish.

The WOW roll is decadent and amazing, more of a summer roll than sushi roll.

This place is a must go with a combination of traditional atmosphere and flavors, hitting on the experimental notes of "americanized roll" without losing the former.

Banzai Sushi : Another reason that Denver, with all of it's healthy initiatives, makes me both fat AND happy.

Easy parking and low pricing add to this Japanese Delight.

I got a Groupon for this place for Christmas so yes it was a while ago and I did use a Groupon. But to be honest I don't think that was the issue.

The location and the building are a little sketch...not bad but Denver has plenty of nice trendy sushi places and this just isn't one of them. When we got there it was a little early so there were only a couple other people there. As time went by the place got much busier. The dining area isn't huge so it doesn't take a ton of people to fill it up.

Service was crappy, I would like to blame the language barrier but that doesn't make you act mean and ignore people. On more than one occasion we asked the waitress something and with out a word she walked away and someone else came over instead.

The sushi was OK. Not the best I have ever had but with 100 different choices you are bound to find something that sounds good. I didn't find anything that was worth going back for in the sushi department. We did however fall in love with the atomic shrimp. That was something worth going back for...but we still haven't.

I wasn't well versed in the Groupon etiquette at the time so I didn't tell them I had the coupon until the end of the meal. The waitress got an attitude and said that the prices were different when you had a groupon (wtf). Then came the creepy credit card machine. It was awkward, really really awkward. It seemed that only one person in the restaurant knew how to use the machine so we had to wait for her to come and even then she had some issues. The whole thing was really creepy and for sure made me not want to come back.

I'm rating this because I wanted to calm to fears of anyone going to this place. I bought a groupon and was near terrified to use it after reading the reviews here! Everyone made me so nervous that I
a) took out cash because of the terrifying credit card machine that they bring to your table
b) was ready and expecting to have to pay full price in case they didn't accept the groupon
c) expected grocery store quality sushi
d) was braced for rude service

I'm happy to say none of this happened. The waitress was kind and prompt. I was asked, upon seating, if we had a groupon. I'm guessing this was because it was happy hour. Makes sense to me. The sushi was fresh (as much as it can be in Colorado) and incredible, the miso soup was fabulous, the chicken teriyaki was awesome.

So, if you're terrified of this place... stop stressing. It's good stuff.

And my husband suggests you try the "Hula" sushi. He hasn't stopped talking about it in 2 days. Oy.

I was SO disappointed with this place.

I might be a little biased, since Sushi Sasa is the sushi restaurant I go to most often, but I really didn't experience anything positive here.

We were seated promptly, and given water immediately, but after that it felt like they were rushing us through everything, and there were 4 waitresses working on our table of two. We didn't want anything else to drink other than water, and they gave the impression that that was rude. They also took our sushi order form off the table before we were done, and seemed annoyed when we asked for it back because we weren't done ordering. There was even some confusion in ordering appetizers. I ordered the miso, and the waitress said "ok, two misos", started to walk off, and then we had to clarify that no, my friend did not want miso, but something else. It really was just altogether kind of an irritating experience.

Then the food comes. The yellowtail I've been craving for sooo long. First problem? I asked for Hamachi shashimi, and they brought me nigiri. I didn't mind too much, so I dug in, then found out why they probably shouldn't serve shashimi at all.... It was the least fresh tasting sushi I've ever had. It was dry and flavorless. SO disappointing. Not to mention I also ordered the #19 roll, which comes with more yellowtail on it.

After a meal that left much to be desired, they bring us the bill. We ask if we can split it up by what each of us ate, since we each had our own rolls and appetizers. The woman stormed off without saying anything, and then someone ELSE came back with a tiny credit card machine to swipe at the table, on which it asks you whether you want to give an 18% of 20% tip. Um.... I'm sorry, I wanted about a 10% option, because that's what the service warranted, and that's being NICE.

We signed our credit card slips and got the heck out of there, never to return.

I do NOT recommend this restaurant if you like good service and good sushi.

Delivered one of the greatest kids meals I've seen to my daughter. Service was great, atmosphere was nice, and my food was terrific.

Seriously, if you have children and want to go for sushi, go here. For $6.50, my daughter got chicken teriyaki, rice, orange slices, jello, and a lollipop. She was in heaven.

FYI - this is the first Japanese restaurant I've been to in town that actually had options specific for children, and I've been to several.

Banzai Sushi is pretty unassuming from the outside, and to the casual passers-by will probably seem a little cheesy. But wow, don't judge a book by its cover. Inside lies some of the best sushi I've had in D-town.

I sat at the sushi bar and had ok service. When the place is packed (as it was the night I visited) you'll want to exercise patience. Getting our drinks was pretty slow. In fact, the couple sitting next to us at the bar didn't get their beer + sake until about halfway through their meal, same with us with our waters. I also saw several people wandering around trying to pay their tabs. But the food totally made up for it. Chirashi bowl, soup, salad, and a cucumber salad for $15? I don't know where you can get a better deal. If someone knows, please tell me.

And nothing beats watching your grandmotherly server (I'm not being ageist here, she really could have been my grandma) ring up your bill on an electronic scanner seat-side, and then chastise you when you press the wrong button and crash the transaction.

If you heart sushi and you haven't been to Banzai...well. What are you waiting for?

I love sushi. My boyfriend had been talking about this place for a long time but never shared the name with me. When I moved here he took me and I loved it. The quality of the fish rocked and the number of rolls....well it's like an encyclopedia that needs to be studied! I've been back numerous times and always love the rolls that we order. The Hula roll is awesome, I wouldn't have thought that pineapple in a roll would be something I would enjoy but it's great :)

I've dined at the sushi bar once and tend to always be seated at the same booth otherwise, and I love that. The owner is SO nice and I love that he comes by and chats at some point during the visit. Tonight he chatted with us on 3 different occasions. There were 6 of us and we ordered 9 rolls, edamamae and a sashimi platter and it was all great!

I've never had a problem with service here, the women are always very friendly and want to make sure that everything is ok. The time that we spent there tonight was definitely longer then I've previously spent but I had great company and a lot of great food so I was a happy camper.

I love that they're doing a competition to come up with a new roll. I look forward to seeing what they come up with and think that I'll have to create something to submit as well.

The good:
Very intense selection of rolls. Great mix of flavors and the portions were amazing.
The bad:
The service was horrendous. Three of us were sharing saki and when we tried to order a refill the server actually picked up our container [shook it] and said, "finish this one first". Well, as long as it took us to get that one, we were trying to get a head start...but last time I checked, my mom wasn't working the dining room, so, get my saki.

Then...we waited a half hour after finishing our sushi to get our appetizer.
It was a hot mess.
