This place has some awesome Happy Hour deals. The last time I was here the service was a bit slow, but they were really busy, and from what I could tell understaffed. Overall, though the food was good and hot when I got it. If you're looking for a happy hour spot I would recommend Bar Louie.

EXCELLENT customer service! Ashley O.  was our server and took care of everything promptly with a very friendly attitude... Tell (the manager) was very accommodating and took care of us very well.  Couldn't have asked for a better experience! Will definitely be back :)

We stopped in here yesterday to quiet our hunger pangs and quench our thirst . Forty beers on tap- my husband was thrilled. I had a mojito and it was ok. At $12- I guess I wanted it to be amazing. The beers were not cheap either- I believe it was $6.50 for 20 ozs. Not exactly a bargain.
We opted for the Nachos and they were pretty good. I'm always happy to see nachos topped with black beans instead of refried or pinto. It came with chicken and fresh jalapenos, guacamole and sour cream. Their salsa is not very spicy, has a slight smoky flavor, and did not seem fresh. For $11, this was a pretty decent option.
Service was a bit slow on the patio but it was 2:00 and I think staff was light. It's nice they have 2 patios- one designated as non-smoking.
I think if we returned, we'd come during happy hour which runs 4-7 Monday - Friday. Discounted drinks and some apps.

Bar Louie is one of the three chain/franchise restaurants I LOVE.  And this Bar Louie lived up to the chain's standards!

Went there on a Thursday afternoon, was in & out within 35 minutes!  The service was quick, the food was above par, and I really liked this location's open dining room!

Only downside was parking!  In general, parking for The Streets at SouthGlenn is limited.

Came here on a Friday night and was a little bit surprised. There was no waiting area, and the waitress had me sit on a bar stool in the middle of the room. There was live music, which was nice. Food was alright, and drinks were reasonably priced. This atmosphere seems a bit out of place for the neighborhood, but if you're looking for a bar atmosphere in the suburbs, Bar Louie is your place!

This is the most "bar" like place in South Glenn. It reminds me a little bit of Lodo's, or other bars by Coors field. Not necessarily a good thing. It's mostly a thirties+ age crowd (lots of married couples, after work groups), but the servers/bartenders are really young, tattooed, and dressed skankily, which seemed out of place for the bar & neighborhood. It seemed like they were trying to make it a younger place than it was. And that shouldn't mean lame service either. But for some reason the place was packed and you have to wait to get a table???

The food is typical bar food, but it seems like they make it a little nicer than some. I am gluten free and was able to order a few appetizers with no problem (shrimp skewers, chicken nachos). They were ok and its cool that they are half off during happy hour because otherwise I probably wouldn't have gotten them. Speaking of happy hour. They say $4 glasses of wine and $5 martinis??? Well not all of them. You have to ask which ones. Only a house red and house white, which is not mentioned on the happy hour ad. Super lame. Places like Lala's in Denver offer happy hour on all their wines. So I was disappointed when I saw the bill and felt like they were kind of shady.  I might come back for a drink on the patio (which was decent) but I'd probably rather go to one of the classier places in the neighborhood.

Been here a couple of times now.  I have only tried a few things but I guess it's enough to go ahead and review the place.

The food is good bar food (quesadillas, chips/queso, pretzels, etc.), not crazy over the top but also not bad at all.  They have a large selection of beers and a pretty good HH.

There is a huge bar with lots of TVs so it's a great place to watch sports.  If you have some time to kill before a movie or want a laid back cool place to hang out after a movie I'd come here (it's right next door to the Hollywood theater).

Probably the "bar" of choice in this shopping center.  If you want something more upscale there are other options.

I went to the Bar Louis at Southglenn for happy hour/dinner at 6:30 p.m. on a Tuesday night.  It was crowded and the wait was about 30 minutes.  It was very lively and busy, but the food was good and the prices were amazingly cheap.  We had $4 wines and $5 burgers as well as calamari.  Everything was on special through 7:00 p.m.  Not sure if this is every day of the week, but I was pleasantly surprised at the inexpensive cost.  I'd repeat here for sure.

I really wish I could give Bar Louie a better rating, unfortunately the service was terrible! Our waiter forgot several things that we had asked for, never came to check on us once our food arrived and didn't keep our drinks replenished. The food on the other hand was pretty good. I'll prob go back and give them another shot, I just hope I don't get the same server!

I live in the neighborhood so we do go here often. Food is pretty good !
My only disclosure is that the service is subpar. I think because the servers and bartenders dress for the "men" and don't like to be bothered by a female, even though I am an exceptional tipper. I do have to think twice about going into this establishment based on who I am with as some of my friends do get a bit offended by the uniforms of the servers.

Bar Louie at Southglenn has become a favorite of mine. Lots and lots of televisions for me to watch football and good food. My two favorites are the Bravarian pretzels that are served with honey mustard, cinnamon butter, and queso and the BBQ bacon burger. So juicy!

The only reason this establishment losses a star is for the consistent bad service. Get some better wait staff and it would definitely be "As Good As it Gets!"

Great atmosphere!  Great Service!  Food average to above average.  We tend to go for the sliders almost every time and the berry and brie salad is super great served with the adobo shrimp skewers on the side.

They do have a great happy hour, but read the extremely fine print on the sign on the table for what is actually offered on the appetizer menu and shop from there.  Not all the appetizers are on special, we found out the hard way.

We enjoyed sitting on the patio and watching the action on this lovely fall evening. Maybe it was homecoming, because for a minute there I could have believed we were in LoDo rather than the burbs. Cocktails were good. Enjoyed the pretzels and the  fish and chips. Nothing terrific, but fun to people watch and the food was decent. Kind of noisy inside for my taste.

Many many tap handles boasting many many beers.  Many many TVs playing many many sports.  That's always good.  Especially the former.  There isn't much to say about my first visit, as we just came in to have a couple of beers.  I have heard good things about it, I have passed by and peeked at the menu, which offers standard bar food you'd expect to find.  The bartenders are friendly and the place is big and open with a decent patio on the Streets of Southglenn.

I have nothing to point out that distinguishes it above and beyond any other bar of this type, it's very much like a Lodo's or Rock Bottom kind of spot.  It's close by and seems like a fun atmosphere, so I'll probably come back and check it out again, maybe sample some food.

I am really surprised by some of the negative reviews on here! My husband and I have a "date night" here nearly every week, so that should say enough in itself.  We truly like this place, whether it's for a quick drink before or after a movie, watching a sports game or just for dinner out.

Tuesdays are our favorite night-- $5 burgers and during happy hour (every weeknight, not just Tuesdays) $3 draft beer (from an extensive and very good list!) and $4 wines (and I believe $5 martinis... But I haven't ventured into mixed drinks here) AND (yes there's more!) happy hour priced appetizers!  If that isn't enough to get you excited for a cheap weeknight meal, check your pulse.

Plus, these $5 burgers really are fantastic.  We have no problem paying the $8-$9 on a regular weeknight for them. You can get beef, turkey, grilled chicken or a portobella mushroom cap and any choice of their different burgers- not just the lame, normal cheeseburger with an upcharge for all the good stuff- it's ALL of the burgers on the menu for five bucks.  We've ventured outside of the burger choices as well, and have had so many good things I can't list them all.  My two favorites are the Louigie sandwich and the Cajun style grilled chicken plate served with rice and grilled peppers and onions (spacing out on the menu name for it).

As for service, I've been disappointed ONCE and like I said, we go there weekly, so it was bound to happen at some point.  Both my husband and I used to work in the service industry so we know what good service is supposed to be, and this place just seems to have it going on.  For the most part, we like to sit at tables in the bar area or at the actual bar top, but there is good service throughout the whole restaurant. We LOVE Dora who is almost always bartending on Tuesdays.  She remembers us by name and knows what we drink and makes it a point to carry on conversations with us even when she's busy.

Oh, and in response to some of the other reviews, we are not at all offended by their outfits.  It's a bar, what did you expect? A turtleneck?  They wear tank tops and, in the summer, shorts, but nothing that I'd ever turn around and walk out of a place for.

The atmosphere is really nice.  Open concept and great garage doors that gives it the airy feeling. The patios are great as well.  It can get loud, and on weeknights during happy hour, just EXPECT a wait.  They're busy.  Grab a drink at the bar and be patient, because it's worth it :)

My Fiancé and I went to Bar Louie last Saturday night. The staff was friendly and very attentive. We decided to sit at the bar because the energy from the bartender just felt right. CR was great, actually he and the rest of the staff was amazing. We were looking to have a good time with great drinks and great food and we were not let down. Go for the specialty martinis, don't look just ask for whatever an CR will find one to fit your personality. We had a bunch of apps but I still needed to fill the void. The answer was the spiced Tuna dinner. It was sweet with spiced crust and veggies.
The energy there was contagious. Everyone was having fun. There were a group of ladies having a bachelorette party right next to us. Usually very annoying but the staff handled it well.
    Thanks Bar Louie!

We've been there twice and the first time was better than the second.  The first time was a Saturday night when a live band was playing.  We got the ahi tuni sandwich which was cooked absolutely perfectly and the BBQ chopped salad which was also delicious.  They had a lot of beer on tap, all which were reasonably priced. The service was amazing and the food was delivered so quickly!

We went back again today on a Sunday afternoon.  Because of the great experience last time, we got the ahi tuni sandwich again.  However, this time it was way over done.  It might be the difference between the Sunday afternoon chef and the Saturday night chef.  But overall, the food was still decent.

Four stars for the bar experience (I have not experienced the food here yet).  Southglenn sure has changed from my childhood....and that's a good thing.  Bar Louie seems to have a successful bar concept that will bring patrons in for years to come.  Time will tell.

I was there for an event so we really didn't get to try the menu, but I sure loved the atmosphere and the appetizers we tried. The Streets of Southglenn are just cool so I'm sure we'll be back.  Try the nachos.. they were great.

The atmosphere is not very appealing.  The staff are not outgoing or friendly.  We sat at the bar because it was a little brighter and inviting.  The bartender, our server, seemed annoyed with us and spent most of his time at the other end of the bar with other employees.  He was not very attentive, talkative, or helpful.  Overall experience could have been much better.  I will say that the pretzels we had were the highlight of the evening.

If you want a 5 buck burger on Tuesday (half off) or 5 buck buckets on Wednseday or if its a 3 buck any beer or tap (3-7) / (10-close) with half off apps and you live in the area, then this is most definately the place to go.

More oft than not, you will run into someone you went to Arapahoe HS with and at the same time, they will be with the same click they were with in school.

As another reviewer said "this place is a big open space" where its all about quanity and not so much quality.

Creative bar menu. Must try the berry mojito-it is divine! Check out burger happy hour on Tues for $5 burgers. I was excited about tater tots but the hot pepper on it was insanely spicy so you may want to ask for light. Also, check in on yelp for a free drink!

Call me a glutton for punishment...whatever...I want, really, to like Bar Louie, but God help me...I just can't do it....

Nice space, well decorated, but the service....OMG, it sucks...there I said it, sorry to put that out there but it is SO TRUE!!!!!

My hubby and I, we like to sit at the bar as one tends to usually get more personal service...nope, not at Bar Louie.  We have been several times and even sitting at the bar, when it is not even slammed, no one seems to care.

We have been many times and this last time was a "wow", "yikes" moment.  We sat ourselves at the bar and it was not busy and waited and waited and waited and then the bartender, finally adressed us and we placed our orders.  He was about as friendly as a stop sign and no personality.  He seemed totally pissed off to be there and reflected it back on us.

Drinks were prompt and not bad.  The food however, us usual (why the hell do we keep going back, I do not know) was late and cold. The amazing thing about Bar Louie is they have a really nice bar menu, the execution of the food is horrible.  Every single time we go there the food is always 45 minutues late and half cold.  One tator tot is too hot to eat, the one beside it is stone cold....how is that possible?

The food is stone cold every single effing time....I could even understand it if we went on a Friday nite and it was slammed....this was Sunday after church and no one there....come on guys, get it together.

I will probably go back because I am fool....but since I usually go after church I am praying for wisdom and discernment about where I spend my money and time.....

I'm surprised about the bad reviews on this place, but I've only been there once, so I dunno...

I went here the other night, and was really pleased with the whole experience. Went there on a friday night at 7pm, so of course there was a little bit of a wait (College Basketball playoffs was also going on, so that didn't help...).

Food was better than average; I expected sports bar type food, and the burger I got was really good. Service was decent, and it didn't hurt that we had a super cute tattooed waitress.

Other than it being loud, noisy and crowded, I'm a fan, because the food was really good.

Really awful experience here - We'd started girls night here a few times before with no issue. Always called ahead and were seated right away.

Knowing we had a big group (12 girls), I'd stopped in at 11 a.m. to let them know we'd be coming in at 6 p.m. I was told that they couldn't take reservations and that I should call ahead 1 hour before to put my name on the list. Fair enough.

When I called 1 hour before, I was told that I wasn't allowed to call ahead 1 hour before and should call back 30 minutes before we planned to arrive. I called back 30 minutes prior and was told 'okay.'

When I got to the restaurant and met 6 others in our party, we were told that it'd be a 90 minute wait because they can't accommodate our large party - despite calling ahead. Each of the staff people that we talked to were rude and acted like I was inconveniencing them and that I 'should have known their policy'. So we took our party of 12 (eating and drinking) elsewhere.

Never again will we try to meet at Bar Louie.

I actually really like Bar Louie.  My fiancé and I checked it our last night on our way to the movie theater.  They serve a generous amount of beer and have a pretty good selection.  The sandwiches are great.  I had the turkey, ham, and brie:  I was a little worried about the combination of mustard and jam, but it melded together with the cheese perfectly.  The Dijon was a little spicier than I expected, but the Brie cut the spice nicely.  Apparently the blackened fish po' boy was good as well.  The real stand-out was the tater tots-- amazing!

Our server was friendly (and I wasn't offended by her outfit, by the way).  It took a really long time to get our food, but she checked in with us often, so even though we had to eat quickly to make the movie, I think it was more of a kitchen issue than a server issue.  The place had a bar vibe, even on a Sunday at 6, but wasn't so loud we couldn't have a conversation.  Prices were reasonable-- for two sandwiches and two drinks we paid less than $35, which isn't bad at all.

I thought about going down to three stars, but the location and sandwiches kept me at four.  I've liked everything at Streets at Southglenn so far, actually.  I will definitely be back!

I live in the neighbourhood, so I've been in here quite a few times, and it's not bad.  Not all that good, but not bad.

The food is the best point -- almost always good.  But they lose a full star because the Cuban Sandwich -- the best I've found around Denver, bliss on bread -- is NO LONGER ON THE MENU!  (That sound you hear is me, crying.)  The beer and mixed drinks are fine, but a bit overpriced.  There are quite a few TVs around, so it's not a bad place to watch a ball game.

We've several times been seated at tables with really cold breezes blowing, so don't be bashful about asking to move.  And don't plan to go here on a Saturday night and have a conversation with dinner -- the noise level is beyond deafening.

Some pluses, some minuses -- 3 stars.  I'll be back, I'm sure, but I wouldn't drive to get there.

Great service made up for poor management.

So, usually when we are going to have a large group, we make a reservation. I don't think this is an unheard of concept. We make a reservation because we would like to be seated at the time requested in our reservation. At Bar Louie, a "reservation" means that you are calling ahead to let the place know you are coming, but they don't really care. When you show up for your reservation, you will get that annoying little buzzer coaster and will have to wait for a table just like all the non-reservation holders. Not cool!

We tried to get drinks at the bar while waiting for our table, but of course that was a fiasco, since the bar was packed with other pissed off people who couldn't get a table. There was an closed bar in another area of the restaurant with a bunch of seats, so we asked if we could sit there and were told that there was no service there. Really? WTF? They can't send the server that is serving the tables right next to it over to take some burger orders? So, after waiting OVER 45 MINUTES for our RESERVED table, we ordered food at the bar that we could walk over to the unused seats at the closed bar. Of course, this annoyed the host, who "suddenly" found a table for us, so we got to deal with the FUBAR combination of bills from the bar and our server at the table. But, the bartender was super nice and helpful and our server was great as well.

Was the hassle worth the $5 burgers? Well, I have to say they did have some pretty damn good burgers. The fries suck, but whatever. The draft list was extensive and I did like that I could get a Double IPA on Happy Hour for $3.25. But, I can't say it's worth coming back. Maybe when this place gets their act together and learns how to treat those who bother to make a reservation, but not anytime soon.

While I'm surprised by the many negative reviews of Bar Louie, I can't bring myself to rate the entire experience more than 3 stars, either. My Mom and I dropped in late on a week day, so I can't make mention of the crowd (though I've noticed that the restaurants at the SoS aren't generally all that busy to begin with.)

I was surprised by the staff "uniforms" - I suppose Bar Louie is going to a high class Hooter's without the high class girls? I would have preferred more clothing on the servers; very confusing and unexpected (and off-putting.)

However, the food was great. We ordered the chips and salsa/guac/queso and I had the Ahi Tuna sandwich. Both were quite yummy! I checked in on Yelp and received a free (non-alcoholic drink), some type of designer tea. My Mother enjoyed her sandwich as well. The service was decent (though neither the server nor her manger knew anything about the Yelp check-in . . . kind of odd.)

Eh.  If you don't mind the so-so service and over priced food while catching some sports, this place may pass.  This one at the Streets of Southglenn definitely has the location going for it.  The place was less than 1/2 filled at lunch (Sat.) and it took over 45 min. to get our food.  To me it's just another chain that had a concept, put it out there and along the way forgot about some restaurant basics:  good service, value & consistency.

Pluses:  The concept's decor is pretty cool with the big open room feel.  Huge garage doors open out to two big patios which are nice to hang out on in the summer.  Large variety of beers on tab.

Minuses:  Bartenders were kind of unpolished w/ not much personality.  I don't usually take personal jabs at people, however, when you're in this business to make tips, your goal should be to build a rapport with your guests so that they want to return.  It becomes annoying when you have flag them down to get anything.  The 4-taco platter is way overpriced at almost $13.  They are of the tiny 2 1/2-inch variety and only two of mine had avocado in them.  I was still hungry after that.  Dirty dishes piled up around the bar in front of patrons.

2 1/2 stars for this visit.  We may try back this Summer to see if a patio experience improves my overall perception.

Not sure WHY we even stepped foot in this horrible place after the last couple train wreaks but wanted an after movie drink and this was the only place open. (We should have just stayed at the SkyBar).
Walked in with 3 hostesses at the stand completely ignoring us, after a couple minutes  we took it upon ourselves to sit at a couple open chairs at the bar.

Bar tender was at least more attentive then anyone else we've ever had there. HOWEVER this place is sooo extremely over prices for their shitty mixed drinks! We had 4 drinks between the 2 of us and our bill was $47!
Our movie and dinner cost less then that. We of course realized this is why they don't print the prices in the menu. Even asked for an itemized bill thinking maybe they charged us wrong. Nope, just expensive crap.

Honestly wish I could give a NO star rating!

There is a really good feel to this Bar Louie location, much better than the feel of the location at Northfield.

The food is definitely above grade for the standard bar/restaurant fare that seems to be prevalent in Denver.  The service is friendly, quick, and efficient.  The beer/wine/cocktail selection is very well done.

This is an easy place to spend an hour or two, watching sports on one of the many televisions, checking email (free WiFi throughout the Streets of Southglenn), or just hanging out with friends.

I love the  new Southglenn except tthe eating establishments.  I already wrote about Restaurant Home.  So no need in saying anything more on that ..
My dear friends and husband decided to venture out on Saturday night.  We should have been happy with our at home Friday dinner.  We went to Bar Louie for dinner and drinks.  What can I say?  Even my Martini and stuffed Blue Cheese Olive weren't good. Ok so then came dinner. A steak Sandwich for my husband, a steak dinner for my friend, a turkey burger for his wife and my fish sandwich.  All were tasteless and so dry.  I will say my friend did enjoy her sandwich.  That was the only positive.
I was up all night with a stomach ache and wish I had barfed.  Sorry. I would have felt a whole lot better thats for sure.
Well Bar Louie is off our list.  Good thing there is a new Mexican Restaurant coming.  I guess we will try it.

I am a fan of the really funky menu. I know, I know, I know, it is chain, but it is groovy as far as interesting goes.

The servers and hostesses are all embryos - young and barely, sloppily, dressed; good for the men folk I guess, but I just want to pull down their shirts over their inked bellies, love handles and stick legs. They are too young to be hot - just sorta, um, tepid. They look 16.  Girls, really? Your skin at 21 isn't going to look that good at 35 or 65 - I am a fan of ink, but some restraint might be in order.

Love the appetizer menu - I am a sauce slut and they give you several choices with most everything. Channel your inner 12 year old and try the cheeseburger pizza - shut up, I know! So good and soooo bad for you.  I am not usually a big burger person but gave the "Angry Louie" a try which was listed as: Sriracha, fire sauce, pepper jack, fried jalapeños. There was one hot, whole jalapeno, not plural, on top of my burger, so I cut it up and proceeded to get some good and proper heat. Fries, I can take or leave but there were thin and crisp and pipping hot.

Service is sketchy - we sat with empty beers and waiting for a tab *every time we have been there* - maybe the embryo's legs were not developed enough to make is across the huge expanse of restaurant space.....just saying.

LOVE BAR Louie's!  This place rocks both locations are great, the one up in Westminster off 104th was where I first discovered this Chicago based hip and urban restuarant.  This bar features warm, upbeat surroundings with contemporary photography, mosaic tiling, wood-paneled walls, modern lighting and plasma televisions.  You will love all the food here, I haven't gone wrong yet.   Specializing in oversized sandwiches and artfully concocted signature cocktails, Bar Louie also offers an extensive selection of appetizers, pastas, entrees and a wide assortment of interesting beers, microbrews and wines by the glass or bottle. The service is always great and the wait staff is adorable.

ps... 5 stars for the bloody mary's *****

Don't even bother, this has disaster written all over it.

I went to Bar Louie in the Southglenn Mall area for the first time with my mom and my aunt who are very harsh critics of food service, and this place did not please them. Regardless, we went back for a second time and that was when I realized that not even a second or even a third time would be a charm here. This place screams horror.

We were seated by little girls my cousin's age (about 17) wearing nothing more than a mini skirt and a t-shirt, hot if you're a man going to Hooters, but not to a family restaurant in Southglenn. We were greeted about 10 minutes later by a waitress who had tattoos wrapped around her midsection that was showing on the gut that hung over our table as we ordered. Please get this straight, I have nothing against tattoos, but when they are the focus of all attention while peeking out of private areas at our dinner table, I do tend to lose a bit of my appetite.

After our drinks arrived (finally) we tried to order, but of course, it took our waitress another 15 minutes to figure out that we were ready to order, even though all of the menus were piled on the edge of the table (where they stayed all night). Amazingly the order came to our table without any mistakes but my cousin's mac and cheese had two hairs sticking out of it. Nauseating to say the least.

At this point, after a few more happenstances, I asked for a manager to come to the table. He showed up after a brief wait and I told him that I was a bit appalled by the service, the dress code, the food and the general restaurant. He was new to the manager thing, but he was pleasant, chatting us up and asking our opinion about different things (hence the one star). He comped our entire bill, alcohol and all, and seemed a bit desperate that we return, no matter what.

Needless to say, we appreciated that they took care of everything, but we will NOT be returning to Bar Louie. My hamburger was sub-par, although I ate it out of pure hunger and boredom. The drinks were not made well and the other meals were nothing to write home about. The service was horrible, literally I could have just walked back into the kitchen and the bar and done better.

The staff all look like they were getting ready to be pimped out at the end of their shifts, and as my 17 year old cousin said, they must run an escort service out of the bar when it closes to the general public.

You'll get better service at McDonald's and you'll see better dressed servers at Hooters or La Boheme. Don't waste your time or your money at Bar Louie.

I'm being generous.  I got corraled into going on the premise that it had "an awesome selection of beer."  the place was crowded so I figured it was a good sign, or they were all waiting for the next movie. The bartender started off with what was not available, then I started down the list of mostly domestic corporate brewstock... OK so I got a Stella go InBev. Menu looked good we got our table and sat down. And it went down hill from there starting with the too cutsey waitstaff that looked and acted like refugees from the old Southglen, not Earl's, If that is the management theme, oh well. Nothing really professional, including the food. Bland, no flavor (ONCE again how do you screw-up a cheeseburger?) frozen potato fries coated with some lemony salt thing and the dried out brownie thing slathered in whipped cream and ?jelly?

If you have to wait for the movie I guess it's ok for a beer pit stop. beyond that save your self and go eat popcorn.

It's been the first time I've been to the Southglenn Mall area since it was revamped.  I was truly impressed with the area.  A group of 6 of us went to lunch at Bar Louie, which was well positioned in the middle of the new area.

    Here's what I liked:
    - GREAT selection of local beers.  At least 20 Colorado beers on tap
    - Diverse menu, and I like the fact you can get nearly any sandwich on flatbread (as opposed to wheat bread or a traditional bun)
    - The wait staff reminds me of Earl's on the 16th street mall.  If you've been to Earls, you know what I'm talking about
    - There's an outdoor area in front of the bar.  Not so valuable now, but could imagine that as a godsend for nearby people at 5pm on a Friday during the summer!

    Things that could be improved
    - Despite the diverse menu, not much appealed to me
    - Would like to see more healthy options on the menu
    - Despite being slow and after lunch rush, finding our server at times was difficult
    - My sandwich (chicken club) was good, not great.

I'd definitely return, but this place seems best suited to having a beer after work.

I have been disappointed in Bar Louie in more then one occasion. I dined at both the Northfield and Centennial Location and both have been devoid of great food, and service.

The waitress came up to us and asked us for our drink orders we decided to order the Bloody Mary's, bad choice. I am probably biased about this because I was spoiled with phenomenal Bloody Mary's at one of the three hotels located in Cimarron, New Mexico all summer long and I have based every one after on those tasty little devils.
They were bland and just tasted like tomato soup with cheap vodka.

We started off our dining experience with a few appetizers first was The New Orleans Chicken Gumbo which lacked flavor and pizazz. Usually there is a bit of spice to a gumbo but at Bar Louie there is nothing; no spice, no flavor, no pizazz.

Next the pot stickers. They were so-so. I have had better, but these little fried dumplings were the most decent thing that lied before our eyes.

Last we ended with the Tuscan Chicken Pasta. Horrible, lacking in flavor, and just overall disappointing.

I would stay away from Bar Louie as I will be doing from here on out. They got there chance and struck out.
