Barcadi Bar & Grill

I found the food here as good as any airport food that I've had. I had the Cuban sandwich. Others with me had the chicken Cesar salad and the pulled pork sandwich. All were good with ample serving sizes and fairly quick delivery. Our waitress, Dawn, was friendly and attentive.

Stopped in here for a quick lunch- thought since the place was packed that the food would be good.  My sister-in-law had a mojito- which she gave two thumbs up to.  I hade a coke and hubby had a diet coke- both tasted really good...not sure why- but they were excellent- why mention a soft drink was so good...because after that it was all down hill-

My sister-in-law & I both ordered the pulled pork sandwich with fries.  My hubby had the chicken ceaser salad which he deemed- fair.  When the pork sandwiches came, there was more bun than meat (and I use the term meat loosly).  The meat looked like processed baby food ( I can think of other descriptions but I am trying to be nice)- it was awful- the fries were fries- I took one bite of my sandwich hoping that it tasted better than it looked...After all time was running short and I knew I my connecting flight back to the west coast through MIA would not allow me time to grab anything there. The sandwich was horrible...I couldn't even take a second bite.  My sis-in-law manged a few bites of hers and like me just worked on the fries.  The waitress came by and noticed my sandwich untouched and the fries gone.  She asked me if I had an issue with the sandwich. I told her it was awful.  I asked her to please remove my plate.  She came back & brought us the check & to her credit she had removed my sandwich from the bill.  Her tip improved...but we won't be back here exept maybe for the bar.
