Basin 141

Had brunch here this past weekend for the first time.  They did a great job with the renovations and the place looks amazing!  I am very excited to have a new brunch spot open in Montrose, especially because there is no where else in the area with bottomless mimosas!

I had the chicken sandwich and a bloody Mary.  The chicken sandwich was delicious- it really was brought up to the next level with the peppers and grilled onions.  

Now this will be one of my destinations not just for great drinks, but for great food as well.

I've received two very nice messages from Eric, one of the proprietors.  Eric wrote that they'll try make sure they have adequate staff.  They just weren't sure how busy they would be since they just opened 6 days before I visited.  He also let me know he put Push/Pull stickers on the doors.   I'm very impressed that he really cares what his patrons write, so I'm rounding my 3 1/2 Stars to a solid 4.  Thank you Eric!

Located on tree-lined Honolulu Ave and run and owned by two of the best and friendliest bartenders I know (and trust me when I say I've known quite a few bartenders in my time) - Basin 141 has all the attributes of a great bar and promises to get even better! In a very cool atmosphere, it has a nice selection of beer, speciality and classic cocktails, and a diverse food menu to accomodate a variety of tastes - all served with a smile!
