We come here sometimes for early lunch on the weekends. Â Sitting outside on the patio is the way to go. Â They have tasty sandwiches and soups. Everyone (patrons and staff) is friendly and dogs are welcome outside. Â Inside there is a bar, which apparently has happy hour, but I haven't been yet. Â Nice cozy neighborhood spot! Â If it is Sunday, walk through the Farmer's Market afterwards!
Review Source:Dishonesty is what I feel after eating Mother's Day Brunch. We entered the establishment and were presented with mimosas and bloody Mary's so we were under the impression it was apart of the all you can eat brunch. Well we thought wrong. Sitting In the room without the AC on a hot summer day, We were never notified that they were not apart of the brunch, as they kept refilling and refilling. As I was once a server, if someone orders the same thing over and over I would tend to let them know the price of the item if it is not apart of the meal. Little did we know that each drink cost $7.50. They were very misleading since there were no menus or prices anywhere in the restaurant.
On top of that, brunch was mediocre and was not worth $30 plus $7 and more for the drinks for our family.
We felt very mislead and cheated.
Incredible find in area!
Knew nothing about place, stopped by for great lunch, great service, pleasant atmosphere, friendly staff. I plan to return next Saturday. Â Parking in back.
My sister had a  grilled shrimp salad, dressing mild yet tasty that she enjoyed and I had the very best brunch dish ever had...spinach hash! Wow, was I surprised at the incredibly tasty and spiced just right dish with two perfect soft boiled eggs on top and just the correct amount of hollandaise sauce.  I have never liked any hash, but this was very well presented with delicious lightly garlic cheese bread on side. We decided to have coffee and I am surprised to say this was the best coffee (served in a French press at table) I have  had since Pete's opened in Berekeley in the seventies! Â
Can't wait to return.
